    Tom,

I didn’t have that style on mine but I had a couple of the marathon ( non logo) fall off and they were a total pain to put on and off… so on Sids advice I switched to the T Kane and have been very happy. I am sure you checked but do you think Marathon would have a matching version for the 365s? Might be worth a call to Leon or Parts in Coburg

“you should really never confirm or deny possession of a firearm to law enforcement for a basic traffic infraction.”

Except in states where it is the law that you MUST inform the officer with your first words that you have a Concealed Carry License and that you are armed. My home state of Ohio just happens to be one of those states. Bad law but it is a law they actively enforce.

You know, I actually lived in NJ for a decade one year. South Joisey actually.

All of these suggestions are great. Thank you. It looks like 77, 81, 84 is the route we will take. If Natalie were with me and could spell some drive time I would click the little button that says “avoid highways” and see where we end up, but Ian is still only 14. I just had a great trip from home to Augusta, Ga using a back road. I much prefer to travel that way.

It appears that you guys with electric dump valves might have ultimate cure for tailgaters…

The device to the right of the gauge is the water trap for the aux compressor. It needs to be drained often when you are running the aux compressor.

The gauge I believe is for the floor slide but since your coach was monkeyed with that should be verified.

I am not familiar with the campgrounds, Tom, but I love Flathead Lake. If there is a prettier lake in the world I want to see it before I die!

“It seems to me that you have a ’99 coach. Ours will be a 2015 but obviously built in 2014…. I would call ours a 2015 as that’s what it will be titled as. Your title doesn’t mention anything about a ’98 does it?”

The distinction for me is if I am ordering parts for a 96 as mine is titled I may get the wrong part because of changes from 95 to 96. It happened with the first parts I purchased. Since then I always specify 95 with talking parts or service for the Prevost side.

“Hey Dick, are you in the TBC, I see by your signature 1998 and a 1999?”

No. Only the “one is just enough club”. Chassis built in 1998, Liberty worked their magic in 1999.

    Don,

We are not familiar with the term relay valves, but in the context of the discussion I have been assuming you are talking about the 3 port Norgren valves mounted on the frame up high between the tag and drive axles.

Try to understand while they are hooked between two air bags (one on the drive and the other one being the tag) that they just sit there and don’t have anything to do with the suspension except when you want to lift the tag axle. Then the normally open path through them closes and the air in the tag goes out the exhaust.

What you have made clear is that the coach has been messed with. So if you try to not focus on part numbers and diagrams and accept the fact that you don’t even need them until you want to lift the tag (an extraordinarily rare event BTW) you can at least know if the rest of your suspension is messed up or not. While talking to Liberty will be productive, there is nothing worse than being asked to diagnose a problem with only bits and pieces of information instead of seeing the whole picture all at once. At this point nobody even knows if the valves you mention are plumbed so the air is flowing through the valve or is blocked by the valve.

Try to sort out if the system works as it is supposed to. The tag axle lift is another unrelated topic, but with the suspension system working, then the tag lift issue can be resolved. One thing you should understand is that on your specific model coach it is likely you can lift the tag axle if you are willing to wait. On a perfectly maintained coach lifting the tag might not be capable beyond getting some weight from it. When the tag air bag air is exhausted the weight carried by the tag axle shifts to the remaining two air bags on the rear axle so the rear is going to drop. If you can build enough pressure to inflate the drive axle air bags to restore the coach to the ride height the lift chambers may not have the ability to lift the tag. But if they can lift the tag it will only be after the coach rises back to ride height, something not assured depending on how much total weight has to be supported by the drive axle air bags.

When you do try to lift the tag you are not only transferring the weight of the tag to the drive axle, you are also shifting some of the weight carried by the steer axle back to the drive. But lifting the tag is another entire issue.

Fred, I’m right behind you in planning mine. It will be a 24×52 with a 12×18 office on the side. I’m waiting on a setback variance to get started. It was originally a 20×60 but I couldn’t make the turn in from the side street. I am going with a 25′ long pit so I can get to anything depending on whether I back or pull in straight. Good luck on yours. I will learn to post pictures.

Jim, the problem is that Prevost doesn’t have it either. They would have to order it and they aren’t going to order 6 inches. I don’t mind paying a little extra, but their price is pretty much double. I have found something that will work at IBP that they charge $2 a foot for. They don’t have the exact thing either. I am searching online to find the right stuff.

I figured their might be a weatherstrip place in Nashville where I could just go in and buy something, but I haven’t found a place like that yet. I’ll search for the place in Charlotte and see what they might have.

Ken, it might be easier to bury a laptop somewhere and just extend a remote display screen. That would give you more options. FWIW, when I was running VMSpc on my dash I had a split screen with Microsoft Streets on the other half of the screen. That worked well.

Now I have their glass dash and love it!

    Thanks, Gil and Jon.

I’ll see if I can’t pick off a paint chip. The only worry I have is that they give me a paint that isn’t suitable for the engine. All I care about is oil based?

I second Sid’s Amarillo choice. We have stayed at Oasis several times. Easy in and out, and very inexpensive.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate your input. For larger work it seems a high-solids good quality contact cement is the trick, while smaller jobs can be more easily accomplished with PowerGrab (or the like). I’m also concerned about cleanup and want to be careful to choose a product that will be kind to the Vitricor. Many of the cleanup solvents used for contact cement are methyl-ethyl-ketone based, or acetone, or toluene based. I wonder what you guys have found that’s compatible with Vitricor. Large panel work certainly needs to be masked and taped to protect the surfaces, but a certain amount of cleanup will be requred. The large panel I have in mind is the mirrored toilet entry way door. I may remove the door and do the repair outside of the coach.

Thanks for the Nuvacor tip. It’s good to know that a suitable replacement is available. I may remove some of my mirrored surfaces in favor of the bronze-stainless steel surface that I predominantly have in my coach.

From the linked pdf, Nuvacor is adhesive backed but they recommend a coating of high-solids contact cement on the wood surface before application of the laminate.

    Thanks!
