Marathon Wheel Covers – 365
As suspected, the covers from the stud pilot 315’s won’t fit the hub pilot 365’s. Anyone have a source other than Marathon? I already know about T Kane and Real Wheels, would like to stick with the logo to match the drives. I could modify what I have, but don’t think it would look good.

I didn’t have that style on mine but I had a couple of the marathon ( non logo) fall off and they were a total pain to put on and off… so on Sids advice I switched to the T Kane and have been very happy. I am sure you checked but do you think Marathon would have a matching version for the 365s? Might be worth a call to Leon or Parts in Coburg

What’s the difference in the two? I have 365’s on the front of mine with the same caps as on the 315 tags….I thought they were the same????

They might have changed your’s out. Once you go to the hub pilot nuts, the wheel cover hits the washer and the end of the bolt thread and won’t lay flat against the wheel. Does your’s lay flat against the wheel or stick out a little?

I may have to go this way to replace my stolen hubcap. Jon or Tom, can you tell me which versions I would want to order if I do? Something about a standard bracket vs a hub, or something like that, and whether I would want the shallow or deep versions?

If I were to lose a hub cap I would have no choice but to get a replacement from Liberty.
However in Tom’s case where 4 caps are needed, he may find replacing all caps with an aftermarket cap might make more sense. It boils down to cost and appearance.

Now you’ve got me wondering….I’ll have to check them today to see if they’re flush with the wheel.
MikeThey are not flush with the wheel; they’re only sticking out about 1/8″ farther than the ones on the tags, which are 315’s….really not any big deal, hardely noticible. I didn’t even notice it until you mentioned it to me.

BTW, look at my picture on the other thread. If you have the same hub caps, Liberty doesn’t have them because they are no longer made.

Karl – Same with Marathon, the style I have is no longer available, the vendor went Tango Uniform.

The latest style hub cap Liberty has has a slightly different edge treatment with an outer flange replacing the “chrome” plastic edge we have on our coaches. It is a subtle difference and I doubt anyone would ever notice unless they were really looking.

105 steer, 85 tag. Sure beats 125 – 130 for the 315’s up front.
