We bought a new 2018 Renegade Vienna double slide to use when we are in a hurry and don’t want to mess with getting the bus out and cleaning it up afterward. Also its a nice unit that the kids are comfortable using whereas they would be nervous taking the bus on a trip.

Hadn’t thought of towing the unit……….

It’s a Featherlite not a Marathon, so unless BA traded, it belongs to some other lucky owner.

Happy New Year to everyone. We are just back from a week in Breckenridge Co and it was great. Crazy to come back home to St. Louis and it’s colder than when we were in the mountains. Had a few issues with the temps while traveling but nothing we couldn’t figure out with input from Marathon. Pretty amazing machines that you can use and enjoy in the extremes if you are inclined. Kudos to Marathon for excellent after hours holiday support to a second owner of a 10 year old coach.

She is back all tucked in the heated garage and ready to go on the next adventure…. just need to wash her when the temps get above freezing.

David, in my Liberty the 2nd CS bay has a large plastic fresh water tank. So, I re-purposed the one 240v/30amp outlet into two 120v/15amp outlets w/usb charger and re-labeled the CBs in the electrical cabinet. I have no need for a 240v/30amp in my bay. If I ever do, I can put it back as it was before.

Tom, a friend of ours wants to attend the rally but hasn’t been able to successfully register on the web site. Can I register (and pay) for him?

I did not know that you can make those settings change. Thanks for sharing Andy.

    I’m here to help.

BD: Thanks for noticing and correcting my transposition. Sounds like the “moisture” must condense to liquid water before the device will remove it. I’ll add one or two of these when conditions permit. Thanks!

I read about the Mobley device and the connected car plan which was around 20 a month. I kept checking back to the AT&T site (we have AT&T phones) and it was not available and not available…. then one day it was! So i ordered it.

Then I got the ac adapter for it and we have it in the bus. It works great. It’s one of those with the 22GB then it slows down. Just like most of the plans.

    So far so good!

    13V. I didn’t see that coming…

What ground did you measure that to? If you were measuring from pin 1 to 5, that could make sense, as you would be measuring through the resistance of the coil in the relay.

If the parking brake tell-tale light was getting 12V instead of 24, it would still come on, but dim.

Basically, two things need to occur for R22 to close and command high idle to the ECM. One is 24V needs to pass through the dash switch to the relay, and the other is the neutral switch needs to close (ground) to complete the circuit.

According to the diagrams, pin 1 on the high idle switch is supposed to be connected to junction 69 in the front panel by a wire, so it’s surprising to see different voltages unless the ground was not a good connection when you got 13V. I would be curious to measure resistance between pin 1 in that connector and junction 69. It should be ~0 ohm.

This part also doesn’t make sense, after going back and re-reading.

“The [parking brake] sensors below, I believe these to be the sensors, show 24V on top with the key on and parking brake set. There is no voltage on bottom with the brake set. “

They should pass 24V through when they close. There should be 24V on both sides if those when the brake is set. Measured to chassis ground, not from one lug to the other. The correct sensor will have wire 85C on one side and 91 on the other.

Do you know your chassis number? Your year falls in the middle of the range so I don’t think I would have pulled the wrong diagram.

We already have two charging systems at work if we are running the generator while in motion. Unless you turn off power to your inverters every time you start the generator.

All have some means of voltage regulation so there should be no issues.
