Am I missing something? Wouldn’t measuring one with a tape measure answer the question? They are not square or flat so any published dimensions would need to be qualified as to how and where the measurements were taken.

I had the exact same problem. Marathon is correct. The replacement model has a larger footprint. What Marathon does not tell you is that the new ones they are using do not have dual heat exchange loops. This will ultimately mean that you have to choose between heating off of the engine coolant while driving OR from the Webasto.

I went down my own route. I purchased two Kuuma 7 gallon HWH’s with single rear heat exchangers. I could not find any units that had the dual loops. I chose to hook one loop to each unit so it works pretty well but only one of the two units is getting heated hydronically unless you are running the Webasto going down the road. These fit in the same location as the old 11 gallon versions. Plumbing connections were close enough to re-use many of the original fittings. Marathon also has these wired so that the only one of the two HWH’s works at a time since there is only one 120V, 20 amp circuit. You will also have to modify the thermostat on the upper unit to power the lower unit. There was a wiring diagram to show you how on the original units.

I saved a lot of money doing this but it was a bigger PIA than expected as all fixes seem to be. I have less hot water reserve than originally intended but I just turn the temp up and with my wife and I using the bus it has not been a problem to date. Good luck.

I just wish they could get along and play better together.

I’ve gotten to know each of them at least a little bit and find them bright (to a point), entertaining (at least for a while), and knowledgeable (even about things they don’t know anything about).

But it seems like when you put them together … as Keith Jackson used to say: WHOA NELLIE! You gotta pull your belts really tight and hold onto your hat just as tightly.

I just can’t imagine sitting in the corner when they make sales calls. Maybe they sell tickets.

    Buddy … you’re a pretty smart guy.

Do you know if that stuff did any thing for your fuel systems, Detroit Diesel, and generator? Or is it an added precaution over and above what the refineries and fuel distributors are already putting in the fuel we buy?

If I find a Coach in Arizona or Calif. would Silverleaf be good for a Prepurchase inspection? Obviously, if I find on in the east I will use East Tennessee for my pre inspection.

The Pilot just before the Florida line has a large easy to navigate parking lot. Plenty of room for the bus and the toad. We stop there often for an overnight.

Those are used to diffuse and direct the air from the roof top A/C units. They are not absolutely needed but they do help spread the cold air out some. If you look at the opening in the ceiling where the one that is installed, you will see 2 little clips that hold it in place. Look around and you should be able to find the other clips to show you where the other plate goes.

The reason this thread was started is out of concern for security for our cards from TSD.

If you have a card and it does not require a PIN to start the pump nothing could be easier, but if anyone should get hold of your card, and understand how and where it can be used you are at risk of having to pay for someone else’s fuel.

Joy from TSD and I have a resolution that works to add a layer of security for those that wish to have it. I picked a 4 digit number that is entered into the TSD system as a “control number”. When I swipe my card the screen will ask for a control number, I enter it and can begin the fueling process. No number, no fuel meaning if I accidently drop my card or leave it at the pump, unless the finder knows my control number the card is f no value and my checking account is safe.

I used it yesterday for the first time and it worked great and if my calculations are correct my net savings per gallon are going to be about $.57

With customer service like that I can only imagine how lousy their repair work is. And the support you get if something they did has to be fixed.
