    Service in Louisville

    I’m new to Kentucky and need brakes in my 91 XL. Any suggestions for a shop in the Louisville area.

    Also any similar age coach owners in the vicinity?

    I don’t know if anything has changed, but I was forced to reline my own shoes when I did my brakes about 15 years ago.

    Prevost had no new shoes with friction material so I was forced to buy the friction material and redo my own shoes. They are 14″ as I recall and 3 different widths.

    It is not a difficult job, but I would definitely seek out someone who has worked on drum brakes, and you may have to have your drums turned.
