Tim,
There should be no difference in flow rates because to the best of my knowledge all of us with the auto-fill are filling from the same faucet, through the same hose through the same water fill valve, etc. The water flow is not affected if we open the valve manually (pushing a button) or allowing the system to open the same valve.

Great post! I was leary of slides as well, but the idea of having more room to move around is a good thing. But I’ve read about some issues folks had with their slides. And some camp sites are too small for the slides to extend I’ve also heard. So there’s that to think about.our intention is to actually travel to see the coach if we find one online that looks like it might work for us. I don’t think we want to fly around the country looking for a coach. I would rather just go see the ones I’m interested in.The coaches that we’ve been interested in, have gone quick, before we could get a flight so they must have been good coaches along with good prices (for a Prevost ) that is.

MemberMarch 10, 2017 at 12:01 pm in reply to: HELP – Need 2 Bunk or Easy One to Convert to BunksI too wanted a bunk coach and Marathon certainly has concentrated on bunks more than any other converter. Marathon has a number of layouts where the side closet has the same footprint as the bunks for an easy conversion. Marathon Oregon did this to my coach for about $9,000 3 years ago.
Rather than the extra expense of adding air conditioning to the bunks, I had a fan built into each bunk that draws from the bath/bedroom hallway air that makes the space comfortable…no complaints.
You can see I left the clothes rack on the top which I used periodically since Jimmy’s closet space is limited.

Thank you. Brandon is who we purchased our coach from

Are the voltages measured before or after the inverters?
If after and the inverters are not pure sine wave, then the
measurements will be affected. Depending on the measuring instrument, a stepped
output inverter can cause problems. -
Buddy must have had a second big cup.

Brett,
The only XLII that will not have delam issues is as Peter describes with the strips at the joints and all all panels riveted with the rivets hidden by the strips.
However I am driving a coach without the riveted repairs and no issues. Mine had issues but was repaired before the rivet repair was developed.I know of other coaches without the repairs and there have been no delam issues.
But life and buying coaches is not perfect. Any coach purchase is a risk unless it it brand new, and in that case you trade the cost of depreciation for the risk to be assumed by others. If you buy a coach how do you know the tires have never been run at 80% or less than the required pressure essentially converting them to trash. How do you know the engine is OK because coolnt was changed to the schedule required? Were the proper coolants used? How old are the air bags or brake chambers? None of the above can be determined in an inspection if the seller chooses to cover up the lack of care.

The starting point is to quantify what you are dealing with.
My initial reaction is the valve that allows the flow of hot coolant to moderate the temperature is not closing properly so you did the next best thing and totally closed off coolant flow. That solves the problem temporarily but on cold morings followed by how days you will need both heat and cold so it becomes impractical opening the valves when you need heat, but closing them when you need AC.
Regarding your sense of inadequate AC up front, what is the return air versus supply air temp. The spread is what is important because that is a good measure of the system health. Tell us those numbers and the specific locations of the thermometer and other members can provide their temps and determine if you have a problem and where you might need to begin looking for the problem.
The forward air in the driver’s area is part of the OTR system with a solenoid valve controling refrigerant flow to the front evaporator.

My point was you do not have to replace anything, just run the washer once a week clothes or not and you won’t have an odor from anywhere. It works try it before you spend the money.

Aaahhhhh, just found this website – xa.yimg.com. Looks like it’s too early to commit, but this will be the place when the time is right.

Thanks for the input Jerry and Gayle, found out this weekend we put an amp meter on line and checked each individual circuit-found a plumbing bay heater themostat stuck-fixed that and figured out how to put it in float mode and everything seems fine now! Thanks and have a great week.

Ronald,
Others have expressed the same concerns, so I’m sure Bill will jump in here. We as PC are not in the registration loop, so have no idea of a head count.
-
I’ll trust your number of coaches on display as my info came from a converter who may have stretched that number a bit. I didn’t actually count them, but I can say that from the point of view of someone who’s still a non-owner, there where a heck of a lot of them!

I clicked on the RED PC Memebers Discount Program Button
Went to the Tire program, followed instructions for sending email. Then read the rest of the page and found this:
“That membership notice is to be presented to an authorized participating Michelin dealer.“
So my question is how do we find an “authorized participating Michelin dealer”
Just wondering if there are spefic dealers that participate in the discount, or do ALL Michelin dealers honor the discount.
