Bob, there are only 4 lights on the right side ceiling circuit. When I changed all 4 to LED is when all went awry.

when there are 2-h and 2-led the dimming works great. ????

you need all the same on circuit to control dimming feature. The H require much more power than LED you are controling power to the circuit as a whole not to each indivual buld. Hope that explains it. Bob

I believe there are so many factors that influence the price of a coach that it is only likely that with some internet searching you can only find a spread and for a specific model year and converter, basically a coach with equal features (like an H3, model year 2006, 2 slides) the spread can be a couple hundred thousand dollars.

Having poked around the internet looking at coaches for quite a few years I can only conclude the prices asked are going to vary significantly from a dealer who wants some room to negotiate and allow what looks like a fair value for a trade in to an owner who needs to move a coach quickly. Same coach, two widely varying situations. The dealer, especially if the dealer is the converter is likely to add substantial value in the form of new tires, batteries a full service, a warranty, and training. A private seller is going to exchange the keys for money and wish you well.

Influencing the pricing is the coach history, its decor, and if it is a distress sale such as a repo, or if it is one with perfect records, and excellent colors and condition.

What is critical is for you to get a sense of the market and buy accordingly.

Just so you can continue the fuel program and other benefits we can bring you, spread the word and encourage participation. If you know anyone with a Prevost tell them about Prevost Community. Encourage them to register as members so they can participate in the fuel program and enjoy the other things Prevost Community offers.

If they belong to a Prevost group encourage them to spread the word among other members. We are not out to take members away from any group, but to be a supplement to that group. You can see how our greater numbers pays dividends and with your help and even greater participation Tom and I can offer even more programs and benefits.

Remember all of this works as long as Prevost Community has the members and the participation.

The best is yet to come.

I have no issue with Legendary (obviously), or someone finishing up where they left off. As long as everyone knows the shell build dates and that Bruce did they paperwork as a 2012, then there should not be any issues. It should be a fairly good coach for someone who wants something unused, but at a better price. Do you have any idea how Prevost will treat this as far as warranty goes, and more importantly, if it has any panel delam issues that will need work..how do they treat a coach shell this old?

When on the Prevost site you have to select the option in the blue banner first. Here’s a link to pneumatic systems.

I understand about the salt white layers you experienced in the rust belt. Mag-Choride far exceeds the nuisance of salt. Upon application the roads are slimy slippery and causes unnecessary skidding by unaware drivers. After you have driven thru Mag/Chloride and the stuff dries, requires another special concoction to get it off. Our automated as well as do it yourself car washes have a special goo you spray on to remove the crud. Dried on you vehicle, mag Choride has a sandpaper like texture to your touch. Our local auto repair shop says on some late model cars they literally must remove corroded tie rods with new in order to do a re-alignment. In the mountains along hi ways most of the vegetation is killed from the stuff and it causes arching in electrical lines, causing non storm related outages. The crap is horrible stuff. Far worse than plain road salt

    Jon,

We’ve been down this path before on how much current a circuit rating can carry. They can carry 100% of their rating up to 104 degrees. I thought it was 125 degrees. So, it’s entirely possible for a pedestal to exceed 104 degrees and the breaker become derated. Here’s what I said before.

    ——–

I used to state the 80% rule like you do until someone called me on it. My basis for stating the 80% rule is that is what my power production team’s used as their criteria for circuit breaker replacement during our annual inspections. These were critical Air Force telecommunications facilities, so we would always err on the side of keeping the plant operational. After I was called on this I discovered I was more wrong than right.

    Here’s what I discovered:

“To meet the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories Standard 489, molded case circuit breakers are designed, built, and calibrated for us on 60 Hz ac systems in 40°C (104°F) ambient temperature. When applied at ambient temperatures other than 104°F, the current-carrying capacity and/or trip charasteristics of the circuit breaker may vary.”

If you take for example Square D’s specification, http://ecatalog.squared.com/pubs/Circuit%20Protection/Miniature%20Circuit%20Breakers/QO-QOB%20Circuit%20Breakers/0730CT9801R108.pdf you can see that a breaker is not suppose to trip until it reaches it’s stated current rating as long as it’s temperature doesn’t rise above 104 degrees F.

    ———–

In the case of Square D even at their highest rated temperature, 140°F, it appears capable of about 45A or 10% below it’s UL rating.

Yes, at 80% of a breaker’s rated load carrying capacity it shouldn’t trip nor should it trip at its rated capacity if its temperature is less than 105°F. When you have the greatest need for power is when it’s the hottest outside, so beware that you may only get 45A or so from the pedestal breaker.

POG web site strictly controls all posts. With the low message count one could say that censorship has continued to you Harvey and to many others.

Harvey, $100 allows you to post anything meeting the standards set by Jamie.

When I was auto billed for renewal (2012) then e-mailed Jamie that I was not going to renew, Jamie in a matter of less then 15 minutes had deleted everything I had posted in 2 years.

There is no history of a Boateral ever being on POG. Here is an example of how POG unhelps its members. As everything I had posted was removed from POG the reference to POG members in Missouri and Kansas on a travel help desk went to the trash basket. So how does one say that POG helps anyone ? You end up in Missouri or Kansas with a problem at least you have a phone number of a local person to help you.

In the time I had help info posted received 2 calls.

I have no idea why anyone would pay $100 to be a member if your post content is then censored.

    Thanks for posting your message.

    Sid,

Thanks for the input… yeah I would be opened to the Kanes… are they universal and how do they mount? The Tire guys I hav used said these were a pain…. took almost an hour to remove/re-install one… so if I am going to have to spend the money…. open to get something that will be less problems…

I will try to give a call tomorrow.

    Thanks

    Bill
