Thanks Jon,
I think I will rebuild this one, it looks like a substantial dryer and the plumbing is good.

Robert if I was not on the road I would have two of these in the mail.

Its a bit ironic that Al and Jon both suggest NAPA. I just suggested on this thread to visit Nixon Power BUT I just bought a fuel pump for my Kohler generator through the local NaPa Store. Very helpful folks.
Go Figure.

Dick,
The link shows the photo of stands, but it also show part of the rope lighting threaded through the frame in the front.

I have never seen a document from Prevost that was greater than 1500 LBS. tongue weight.

Paul,
The Motorcoach Store is in Bradenton, real close to the Tampa area, only about 10 miles south of St Pete.
Marathon is in San Antonio, FL which is north of Tampa about 35 miles.

It’s in the electronic’s rack beside the fridge. Just look for the circut braker that’s tripped it’s also labled. If you can’t find it let me know and I’ll check mine as to the exact location on the panel. I have a 2006 Legendary also number L1009.

Tom,
So, are you saying you just took the time to find a dumb remote or that you really have this remote? My comments are targeted to Prevost conversions and still stand by my comment, that I haven’t seen a dumb remote.
Jon,
For pedestal to pedestal users I still would suggest 2 8Ds of capacity is enough for those with light demands. That would not be the case if your coach powers AC units from the inverters. Obviously, in my case, I would have had to find another option of bringing fish home if I only had 2 batteries.

My AquaHot is 21 years old installed in 92. Not a lot of use over the years. Had a fuel leak last year and took it in and they installed new fuel pump and R&R’ed while they had it apart. It used to smoke quite a bit on start up, but doesn’t do that now. Still works but use electric for hot water. Just turn it on to make sure it works every now and again. Mine is also tied into engine but have never turned valves on to circulate. Ironhorse Rv in San Antonio has a guy there that’s about all he works on. They also replaced combustion chamber and nozzels plus fuel pump.Total cost $1200

Thanks Ben, I am aware of only #1 starting the Gen. I’ll check the meters. What voltage should the Gen see before it cranks on Auto?
Thanks for your support!

Ben,
Do I understand that my 01 Liberty had manual windows when it arrived at Liberty and the electric windows were then installed by Liberty? If so, can the windows be changed back to manual without creating the wheel?

Asko is proud of their appliances. After the last round of repairs on ours I hauled them away to the dump and went to the Kenmore store. They have been chugging away for almost 10 years now with no let up in sight.
Splendide and Asko must be made by the same people, or at least people whose object is to sell parts.

First, congrats to Vantare! They are the only converter I’ve heard of that uses the buss bar and equal length cable method of wiring their batteries.
It’s my understanding that others have had to set their trace chargers such that the charge rate on one charger is substantially less than the other. It sounds like that is what you now have done and, so far, all is well.
One thing that seems strange is that you have a 12V bank of house batteries and a 24V bank of house batteries. Why this is strange is that the discharge rate is now driven by the 12V and 24V loads independently. There’s little chance the loads would be evenly split. Although both battery banks has the same amount of power (watts), the 24V bank has twice the current (amps) capacity. You would have two different inverter/chargers. Although they could both be Trace 4KW units, one would have a 12V charger and the other a 24V charger. The only real benefit to a 12V and 24V bank is that you don’t need battery equalizers, which is typically how 12V is supplied with those having a 24V bank.
I would charge the bank with the hot battery, if it will charge. Once charged, I’d remove the Hot battery (and it’s make, if on the 24V bank) and check the voltage the next day. That will give you a good idea if its the battery.

Jon is right, the battery is toast. If your batteries are wired individually to positive and negative buss bars, just disconnect until it or the entire bank can be repaced. This is one of the main reasons for the buss bar wiring technique I advocate and is common in he yachting world.
