My concern is when you are fully extended up front and rear your upper limits are defined by your shocks. The shocks when fully extended are what limits up travel, at least on my coach. So if you have some twisted or warped surface you can imagine the excess forces that are going to impact one corner of the bus trying to get more height, and the opposite corner trying to compress with internal air bag pressures already at 120 PSI which is greater than their 100 PSI limit.
Bill is right. Take it slow, and use level low only to the necessary extent.

I’m not sure how overfilling a water tank can do any more than spill water on the ground. The overflow is a vent so instead of building pressure the excess water just runs out to the ground.

I am aware of the effect of tinting. Our intent is to install duel pane side windows with horizontal sliders with screens. A portion of the side windows will be removed and covered with sheet steel and then insulated. New windows will have a fairly high level of tinting. Front windshield will receive a uv/ir blocking membrane to 3 inches above driver sight line.

That is a Junn-Aire compressor. It needs oil added to it on occasion. The sight glass at the bottom should be half full.
If you have a bad air leak that compressor will run until it overheats and burns out. I know that from 1st hand experience. If the filter is full of oil, I would suspect that the compressor pumped all of it’s oil out then burned up. That is why you smelled something funny.
Any way that is my best guess.

Per,
I didn’t recognize the coach yesterday, but I was southbound in one on those car things and saw you on the side of the road. Of course I wondered if it was a PC member and saw you had the tire change underway, but I immediately thought to myself after seeing the flat and the placement of the coach in relation to the interstate, that driver knew what he was doing. Congratulations Per, job well done and great post.

If you absolutely have to fuel at the truck island in Indiana, contact George Prentice. He told me he has a number that works everytime.
The first and only time we tried to buy diesel in Indiana the truck desk told me to go to the “RV pumps up front”. That was a disaster. WAY TOO NARROW. Dinged up the stainless valence under the front bumper.
With the 1,600 mile range we have with our coaches, I just can’t see any reason to fuel up in Indiana if we plan ahead a little bit.

Gerald, you recommend bringing all of the battery cables to 4/0?

Kind of mixing. The oil keeps the compressor moving parts lubricated and it is not like freon intentionally carries oil through the system, but oil does migrate to an extent as freon flows.
That is why the quickest way to identify an A/C leak is to look for a black oily smudge at a fitting or leak in a hose. The freon, under pressure is carrying a little oil with it as it escapes the system.

Mike, your are right, it is totally configurable and there is a short learning curve to figure that out. Yesterday we came up I-70 though Eisenhower Tunnel and down the mountain. I found the gauges very helpful on both sides of the mountain.

Thank you for that info, once i return home and before my next trip i will try to change to synthetic, i dont usually travel much over 60 mph but a lot of my driving is mountain terrain in western canada, good info thank you

Your number 1 inverter may have the bulk charge turned off with the timer. Menu 10, 2nd item bulk/absorption time, should be set to at least 3 hours.
30 charge amps for the number two inverter is a power hog, should be set to 15 amps. If you have Lifelines, they can take the 30 amp charge, but your really restricting any other loads on that leg.
Do you understand my post about Temp Sensors? What you have been describing is exactly what I went through 2 weeks ago.

Don’t forget, all tire from NTCS have road hazard too.

Jeff, makes you glad you drive what you drive doesn’t it. When looking at Dan’s you start to understand.

Must have missed the post. Will be sure give it a try.
