Hmm my tank looks about 150-170 gallons, but If a single shower user has water for 7 days I should see atleast 3 days and I get 2 if I’m lucky. Can water pressure play a part? Maybe to much pressure releasing to much water? Can that be regulated at the pump? Also since on the subject anyone know who makes the tank sensors? Mine reads full all the time on my fresh water

    Thanks Jon….

The Flush valve and timer have been replaced and “looks” like all is well !!

The flush valve was directly behind the toilet which had to be removed for access… not such a terrible job just awkward due to the limited space.

Thank you all for your help… it’s always appreciated !!

    Cheers, Diane

Glen, you just jump into your bus and get on over here to the mountain. One of our guest rooms will remind you of Texas. And I have a spot right next to my bus, full hookups and all. But you of course would not be a guest in my home… You’re family!

Jeff, You do need something to read and your patience will soon be rewarded. You remember our talk in my bus where you chose the direction to take? It is really working into something that I think you’ll really like!

My umbrella is liability only. Seems to be common with most I know. May be other coverage options available.

I see various names of the coaches and interested in what companies actually in past did conversions. Basically trivia searching.

Like what is a XLV II?

Jon’s words are so prophetic … as I sit at ETLC and RV Resort having brand new LifeLine AGMs installed in the coach as I type!

I suppose mine will be the very last set of LifeLine AGMs that ETLC ever installs.

Hello everyone, new here and just dreaming Prevost. Been lurking for a while. I have used both balancemastes and centramatics on trucks with dual 16″ tires so it may not apply to the bigger semi tires but I’ll give my experience.

They advertise to remove the wheel weights. This may work in a steady state condition but when the tire becomes upset with anything on the road it will lose balance as it takes more weight to keep the tire in balance with the upset. I have removed weights and used balancermasters and the tires do not stay in balance, and reinstalled weights with balancemasters and they works much better. I believe if they used more weight in the rings this would not be an issue. This experiment was using the balancemasters with mercury, not the shot filled balancers like centramatics which has more weight in the rings possibly.

The latest centramatics I purchased were a two piece affair with the ring inside a disc formed around the ring. Don’t believe this is as desireable as the one piece balancemasters which also imo has better quality and fit between the two on the 16″ truck tire. I did remove the plug on the centramatic ring, inside was #7 shot and possibly tranny fluid. I don’t think this system is as smooth as the mercury as the shot seems to take longer to adjust and rebalance the tire when upset, possibly jamming in the ring to redistribute itself.

I have had a balancemaster leak, found the mercury on the concrete floor, no apparent damage to the ring. This was one among about 12 and quite a long time ago and they did replace it.

I do like the balancemasters, my preference due to quality and smoothness, just leave the weights on. And they do smooth the cracks in the road surface, bridge expansion joints, potholes, etc. fwiw.

And the photo Jon shows is the reason I disconnected the auto-electrical lock on the back door curb side on my H so that it remains unlocked when I hit the entry door lock and everything gets locked down. That rear door door must be opened to open the back. In the event of a fire your brain will be thinking get the fire extinguisher instead of “unlock the bay doors”. So you run back 45 feet, grab the door and oops, it is locked, so run run back 45 feet to unlock the bay doors, then run back 45 feet just to discover that you put down the fire extinguisher when you unlocked the bay doors, so are standing there with nothing in your hand. If I decide that that door needs to be locked when parked to prevent someone like Tom from opening the back door and flipping the rear start switch to off for a practical joke, then I can use my key.

I do not believe anyone knows why the contents of Liberty coach holding tanks turn to rose petals, including the engineers at Liberty.

I’m pretty sure it has more to do with the owners rather than the equipment.

Buy a Liberty and see if I am right.

Thanks, Jon. I was able to tighten the needle valve, so held up to Fort Worth Prevost. Still holding air 300 miles later. I’ll have Prevost double check it. Never had a leak out of the fill valve before!

    Don

The pins came out ok, not loose and not over tight, i have checked the fit of the pin in the support housing and its good, also not too tight where the caliper slides on it, thanks for the advice. I will take my time on re assembly and give everything a good look over.

    Jon

I was reading up on the over greasing issue and will make sure that does not contribute to my problem, Thanks
