I also bought Gil’s rear brake and tail light system, which are great. I just ordered the Whelen light that Pres talked about. It should show up tomorrow and as soon as it’s installed I will get some pictures of it and post them.

I too have to cancel my reservation, its prepaid already and available to any Prevost friends of George & Corey. They won’t refund!!! Ugh …

Every once in a while we have a similar issue. On our Marathon, we have to reset the computer by shutting off shore power, shut off inverters, and shut off house (12 volt) power. Sometimes shutting off just house power will do the trick as well. Good luck!

Yes Jon, we probably have that same continuous running bay fan. Few years ago when the original one quit, I researched it and bot 3 of them (couple spares) at $12 each = cheap.
In July running in heat Chicago – Denver, one of our 22 year old inverters shut down. Their two fans were mounted on the back of the inverter outside the case, so I could see that they were not running. Was able to “reboot” the inverters to let the diodes bleed down, and that fixed the failed one for the rest of the trip. But at home I pitched the old ones and put in the Magnum 2824’s. Their two fans each are mounted inside the case. Since learning that heat dissipation is so important, I added another fan mounted on the floor in front of both inverters, consistent with the air flow of the other fans, and with a manual switch. Since it is 12 volts, it was convenient to power it off the generator start battery located next to it. I’ll probably turn it on only when traveling in heat, and as long as the inverter built in fans work, may never really need it. That’s ok.

Just because AF is not an advertiser, it does not mean we do not respect them, feel confident in their work, or think badly of them.
I have no problem recomm ending them and have on more than one occasion, even after they decided not to advertise. Wehave had nothing but favorable comments.

Dan, I peeled the outer sheet off the inner one while it was still on the coach. I used a thin blade artist’s knife, like you would spread oil paint on a canvas, and it has been like that for three + years. It has never been a problem having just the single sheet. It’s probably not correct, but neither am I.

My 98 XLE has a fill from each side, The one on drivers side goes into the aux tank.

I sent an inquiry to Huffman-Rice last month and didn’t hear back. I don’t know anything about Huffman, but Tandy Rice is an old Friend and he passed away last year.

Interesting how we unhook or hook up in different manners.
I am the guy that is happy to leave the RV park at O dark thirty so I don’t even start the engine until everything is unhooked and I am ready to pull out. If I cannot pull out with the toad hooked up, I also have moved it to where I intend to hook that up.
I fire up the engine when everything is disconnected and with the suspension in the driving or road height like Mark I wait for the “sneeze”. Then the slides come in and I start moving ASAP.
I turn it off when I get situated on the site, mostly because when I am connecting everything I don’t like the noise of the engine next to my ears, or the exhaust blowing on my pants leg if the utilities are near the pipe. The only variation when hooking up at a site is if I run the slides out first, or get hooked up and then put the slides out and it usually depends on where the utilities are located. If I may have to adjust the coach position I usually leave them in, but if everything is all in sight and near one another I will run the slides out before shutting down.
