The engine room in ours was a mess…rust everywhere. I cleaned it up and painted with POR-15. I also cleaned and repainted the CAC, coolant and Turbo pipes as well as the engine block. Makes me smile when I open the doors to do a pretrip. Now I need to do the same on the passenger side.

I
keep meticulous records, but most records you’re likely to get are
not going to be complete by any means. The best method whether you
have records or not is an inspection or PDI, especially for the
chassis. The DDEC can also be checked for the engine history and
mileage.Records
are great, but your likely to find a handful of repairs and oil
changes. There are lots of folks out there like myself that does keep
accurate records, so maybe you”ll get lucky.I
agree with Karl, if they want to sell the bus and are being
accurate, copies are not a big deal these days. -

OK, I have disconnected and removed the last Crestron AV component. What you see in the picture is the brains, where all commands are being executed and where the software resides. So far, everything is still working as expected. Now, I have removed 7 components, one stacked on top of the other, and all handling AV audio and video.
All of this will be replaced by 2 Sony AV receivers, which will do much more than the Crestron and cost thousands less.
Well, the next exiting part of this job will be to trace wires to determine, which casn be snipped.
The speaker wires have been identified, already, and they will all be re-used in conjunction with the new Sony AV receivers and the existing Bose surround sound speakers.

the one I’m referring to is the one that actuates the airlock at the top of the entry door.I’ve located the valve I’m just not sure how to check it to see if it’s getting power when I release the emergency brake.

My Microfore (sp) is a elec only unit and recently due to “potty smell) changed the wax flange seal to a foam type when I noticed an uneveness of wax when I pulled the toilet. Water level is steady after a flush for days, and I pulled the black tank and went over every conceivable point of vapor escape which all checked perfect. Since this was an ongoing thing, elected to do the whole thing to end our “whew” factor. Now, gotta take another trip to test the results. Has anyone else used the foam ring on the toilet flange? Ed Mulhanny suggested this. I have done a few wax seals in homes before and never had an issue. The uneveness suggested to me that the wax had become slightly uneven and with movement of the bus may have allowed the odorous vapors to enter.

Your idea of using air to push thing through worked. I ended up using a KONG dog toy, which looks as if it was designed for the task.
If any one else needs to do this, I’d just suggest you blow the air in at the same time as attempting to flush the toilet so it can move it all the way down the line once it gets moving.
