they are junk for sure. We replaced it with a vented washer/dryer combo and like it.
the key is not to overload it by assuming they work the same as the one in your stick built house!
We load half of that volume and all has been well for us. The convenience of having a washer/dryer on board the bus is worth a lot. Especially, since you can run it while you drive from A to B.
Of course, a stacked washer dryer is even better. Probably, much better. But we did not want to lose the storage space.

It sounds to me like the air is purging at or near the air dryer by the drive axle.
I think I mentioned earlier that the pressure on both gauges holds steady through the cycle and that is still true. I drove from Kansas to Ohio on Monday and watched the gauges very closely. They hold between 110 and 120 with the bottom one just slightly lower in pressure than the top one.

Not sure the isolator has any effect on your batteries going down while camping, I’m sure Jon or one of the Marathon guys will jump in here. As for the regulator, unless it’s complex, it’s not that big of deal. Tape or isolate the connectors and be sure to replace the wires in the correct location. If there is a jumper, be sure not to miss that, you can see it on mine.
Mine is pretty simple (12v 300 amp alternator) yours being 24v is most likely different.

I went from a 1990 XL to a 2000 XLV (riveted) in 2006; I did not even consider an XLII primarily because of this issue.

She wouldn’t have gone to Applejacks if you hadn’t served such a fine wine. She said she had to get some.
We’ll be back, but now that she has been snookered twice to go up a mountain I suspect she will not allow that to happen again.

I see no other damage or marks on the fins. At first I thought it was squirrels chewing on the blades but they look like they hit something in broken, only half of the them are broken. I look so more for sign. I hope I don’t have to pull the radiator to replace.

Sounds like a good idea to me … Add Sam’s Town in Las Vegas to the list if you ever get it in place.
Strange, I have less problems in WalMart or Truck-stops, but the swimming pool and the playground set always seem to have some kind of axe to grind.

Congrat’s on your new Liberty Jon, I understand it is a 2006 XL2 and with of all things slides! I am sure you and Di will enjoy the room and the easier driving of this unit compared to your 97. Searching for air leaks justified the purchase of the ultrasonic leak detector. Like soapy water and a stethoscope it is just one of the ways to quickly identify leaks (as if leak detection is a quick process).
But it has other applications including early detection of a bad switch or circuit breaker, or even a bad connection. It’s not high tech unless you consider sticking on a head set and listening for a change in sound (accompanied by indicator lights on the unit) as high tech. High tech for me is a cell phone with voice mail or a VCR that doesn’t blink 12:00.
