The tag and driver fender is raised and there is no space above the fender other than the stainless panel which may have to be removed to access the area from the outside of the coach. Above the rubberized tray is a steel plate, not plywood. Under the bed is solid plywood, no access hole. Have attached a couple more pictures. We pushed the panels back up as they were hanging much lower. You can see the amount of material that the tire has wore off, but no indication of rubbing on the metal plate.

We are trying to understand what grabbed the panels to pull them down in the first place. Would someone have put snow chains on the tags? The driver panels are in excellent condition. We really appreciate everybody’s thoughts. (June is typing so the spelling should be correct!)

Tom, I replaced the dryer’s drum rollers on my unit without removing the dryer from the cabinet. It required a bastardized wrench built by Kevin Erion. I think next time I will pull the unit out to remove the top and front panels.

You guys and gals with Liberty’s say when you open your dump door rose pedals fall out. When I push a little toggle switch the darnedest thing happens, my dump hose pops out and stops about 6 inches from the campground connection for the sewer. It’s crazy..

Jon: Does the Liberty Classic Lady have air operated pocket doors or manual pocket doors?

What Jon says about some of the bells and whistles which some might consider to be over the top and unnecessary like all the cabinets have lights that turn on when the door is opened is true. While looking at coaches to buy, regarding say the lights in the cabinets I’ve gone from “cool/nice” to “whatever” to “something more to deal with” to finally “those lights are a really nice feature”. We have a now 16 year old coach and all the lights in the cabinets work (except for a couple of burned out bulbs I should change) and I am frankly quite impressed with the quality of the Liberty build and the components they used which has resulted in this feature being trouble free.

We have an Elegant Lady (24 volt coach). The lights (and things) are controlled with by the Creston touch pads or the Sunmullon pushbutton switches. There is a Sunmullon button last allow you to turn the lights in the Sunmullon buttons on at each of the arrays of Sunmullon buttons. I really like this feature because it makes it very, very easy to see the button labels when those lights are on, especially in dim light or at night. I didn’t spend six figures to buy a motorhome that I need to carry a flashlight around in my pocket to figure out which light switch to use! The bedroom has only the Creston touch pad for controlling the lights. I wish there were two arrays of Sunmullon switches for the bedroom and bath area lights in addtion to the Creston touchpad; one of the other side of the bed (my side) and another on the corner vanity in the bedroom just as you enter the bedroom. But all in all I can’t complain too much!

A summary of the differences between a Liberty Elegant Lady (24volt coach) and a Liberty Classic Lady (12 volt coach) is something I was going to suggest be written by someone like Dave Wishnoff from Liberty who someone said monitors the posts to the PC Forum, but Jon did a nice job. Stuff like should be archived so PC members down the road looking for a coach can access it and educate themselves.

T&C, we have a very fine example of the same vintage H’s you seem to be looking at. I hate the 4 piece windshields and have checked out the various options with people we trust. Just put PC on Chrome or Firefox and leave it on the task bar. Seems to be a lot of complaining about bugs and compatibility issues with Windows 10.
