Quebec – Returning to your Coaches Birthplace
For you PC Marathon Owners, here’s a thought about how we could have a Pre Rally, Rally on our way to Quebec. If you’re a Marathon Coach Club Member, there is a Quebec City Rally on September 14 – 19, 2015. So what could be more fun than to have an enroute meeting place for PC members then caravan to Quebec City in a group.
So far, Big Al and I are signed up and I’m sure there are others. We have a year to sort it out, but might as well get started now.

At the S. Dakota Marathon Rally, quite a few people were talking about getting together at Hearthside Grove in Michigan to caravan to the rally in Quebec. We’d really like to do that unless we decide to head to Canada from Stoneridge (Idaho) and go across. I’m concerned about reading French street signs in Quebec on our own though!

Bill and I are signed up for the Marathon Quebec rally. And yes, to a pre rally, no-rally, rally on the way up!

Well, I guess we’ll be parked outside with Jon, Di and others with our noses pressed up against the fence watching what all you Marathon guys are doing. :o(

We’d probably be canning the last of the tomatoes from our garden around that time.
Right now, just before the OKC rally we have just finished stripping the garden and when we come back I have to turn it under and start thinking about the 2015 garden.

How about September 9th through the 12th or 13th at Hearthside Grove Motorcoach Resort??? I could help set things up if you’d like to come up here. For those of you that haven’t been here yet, I think you will fall in love not only with the resort, but the entire area and all the people here as well.

Thanks for the offer to assist those heading to Quebec next year. That won’t work for me, but it might for others.
On another note, I realize you work for Hearthside and they have elected not to participate at PC as an advertiser as their loyalty lies elsewhere. We even offered them free advertising if they would join the other Resorts and offer a discount to PC members, but they declined. The post will stay, Jon and I are not in the business of censoring posts.

Actually at the time he has them, each has been his last coach in a long string of coaches.
We need to start a pool.

As of today “51” sign ups with deposits for Quebec.
Quebec rally still has several openings available at this time. Due to positive response and pre sign ups with deposits Marathon feels they will reach a maximum attendance.
Marathon is also posting a pre-rally 3 day event at…… Hearthside Grove RV Park …. Petoskey MI.
Sept. 8 thru 11, 2015.

I don’t know when it happened, but from the previous post it is pretty clear Prevost Community standards have been relaxed.

We would like to invite all Marathon Québec Rally goers to a Pre-Rally at Hearthside Grove RV Resort in beautiful Petoskey, Michigan, just minutes from Lake Michigan.
Please see the attached itinerary (Marathon Rally – 2015) for information regarding the Pre-Rally.
The Pre-Rally is two nights, from Sept. 8 to Sept. 11.
To make your reservations, please call Hearthside Grove directly at 888-476-8388, and tell them you are with the Marathon Coach group. Please note, the resort is offering a rally rate of $50 per day, up to seven days prior to the rally start date (as long as space is available), so come early and enjoy Hearthside!For those wishing to head on to Québec with other rally goers, please see the attached itinerary for that trip (Hearthside to Quebec). We will depart Hearthside Grove on Sept. 11 and go to the KOA in Port Huron, Michigan for one night. Please call the KOA there directly at 800-562-0833 to make your reservation. On Sept. 12, we will cross the Blue Water Bridge from Port Huron into Canada. After a drive of approximately five hours, we will arrive at the Brighton KOA. Please call them directly to make your reservations at 800-562-0906.
Each KOA has agreed to hold a group of sites for us until Sunday, May 24. After May 24, the KOA sites will be open to the general public and are first-come, first-served.
From Brighton to Québec on Sept. 13, there will be a drive of approximately seven hours.
We have also included a list of RV parks that we have stayed at on the way from Eugene to Hearthside Grove (RV Parks – Eugene to Petoskey). Depending on your route, you may find some of these convenient for your trip.
