The best thing you can do is to go through your recommended maintenance events for your coach which is not only the chassis, but the generator and the house.
We have required service based on miles and calendar times. Nothing lines up so if you haven’t tracked maintenance since the coach was new you don’t know what it due or when. There are items that require attention that aren’t listed anywhere, such as draining air tanks to check for moisture and the operation of the check and protection valves, and there are listed items that even Prevost ignores (with good reason in my opinion) such as annual replacement of brake chambers.
Then there are the preventive maintenance items that you as an owner decide when to do (or not) such as air bag, battery, or Norgren valve replacement.
Nobody is going to care as much about your coach’s maintenance as you and it concerns me that so many owners think an annual visit to a service facility for some routine maintenance has them covered. Not even close.

It should all be your coolant system. I am not familiar with Marathon but when you run the Webasto I suspect it has a dedicated circulation pump as opposed to the engine coolant pump so it might not be air but a sound of more or less coolant flowing through a valve in the system.
When I have a hose filling my coach water tank, if I change the rate of flow using the campground faucet the noise of the water entering the coach changes based on the flow.

Thanks so much for the generous offer Doug, but the Vantare is an XLII not an H. Nice try though…..

Delam water due to a loose panel?
-
I would say you have a domestic water leak, or you are getting a leak through the side panels of the coach…however the location is directly under the slide out and would have to be along the side panel to the rear of the slide then the water would have to follow the air line…stranger things have happened..Is there water there all the time or only after a rain? Is the water pump left on or is it shut off while not in use?

Good luck Brett!

I am pretty sure non slides won’t be an issue. We live pretty small now and the space we have is floor. We both really like the bus, we like the floor plan and the big closet. It does have a combo W/D that I don’t care for, but I don’t do the laundry. Wife says she aint that worried about that. Her domain, not mine.
We shall see how it all plays out I guess. We had it down to two we really liked this Marathon and an 01 Liberty. The Liberty we just could not nail down with an acceptable price.

I keep telling Karen that if she helps wax BoB (the Big ol’ Bus), we’ll add another half mile to our fuel mileage simply by cutting the surface drag…she ain’t buyin’ it though. And she flat refuses to push – no matter what!!

Gary, thanks for the contact information. Marathon is on my way home, so I’ll try them first. Good to know, that there is someone that can work on these switches

OK, now that you are pressed against the wall we will get creative and think outside the box.
Buy your coach. then immediately go to the bank and use it as collateral on a very large loan and convince them they need to take possession of it until the loan is repaid. Since it is high value you know they will protect and secure it. When you want to travel, bring back the cash, get your bus from the bank and use it. When you are done, take out another loan.
It is your dues that pay for these amazing solutions to problems. No applause please.
