There’s 2 capacitors in ea condesing unit. I had to replace a “run” capacitor, not the start capacitor, in one of the basement condensing units a couple of years ago. New “run” capacitor can be purchased at Grainger, item#30D620, 35 mfd, 2” dia, 3 7/8” high, 370-440vac, $15

There’s a “start” capacitor in the condensing unit too. You might want to replace both capacitors while your at it since nothing last forever. The specs for the capacitors can be found on the label on the side of the capacitor.

Double post, here’s Jeff’s response…

On the cover/access you will see a wiring diagram, you can check for power directly on that junction block for the wires or go back in the ceiling of the first bay probally in your coach and get into the circuit board and check for power output….then if power and no fan you can pull unit and change motor….

The challenge or difficulty of coach ownership diminishes greatly as we gain knowledge and experience. It doesn’t make some access or repairs easy, but it does help greatly in knowing exactly what we have to do to get at something that is not working, or where to look for potential problems.

I did check the capacitor and it did show defective, I will order one today, I’m glad I don’t have to remove the whole condenser thanks everyone

Our Liberty Cruiseair condenser units are not that a big deal to remove once we know the process. But removing one usually means it has issues. Break two refrigeration lines, remove the electrical connections, then the several thousand screws around the perimeter of the plywood base and the units slide out.

Hey everyone! I ordered two motor run Capacitors and replaced the defective one for the rear ac, the condenser fan in the basement unit still would not run. Is there another blower relay that could be bad?

Its back to the drawing board, just trying to keep from pulling the unit but I guess it’s looking like that will be the next job.
