Diane,
A typical resurfacing thickness is 1 1/2″. In NC the District Offices re measure the bridge clearance and report to Traffic Services. As needed the new clearance to the lowest point on the bridge to the new surface is posted. If the resurfacing creates a condition less than the legal 13′ 6″ a detour route should be posted before getting to the overpass.i do have a couple of stories for the campfire Ian a future rally.

Absolutely beautiful bus. If I had a couple more bucks I would be heading down to LA in the morning.

I had a steel tank in my itasca that got really nasty. I had to drain the tank and upon refill got it with a good dose of biocide. I changed the fuel filters a couple times afterward and also the screen leading to the fuel regulator.
I never ran additives,, but the suggestion of keeping a full tank and dosing with biocide before winterizing is a good piece of advice.Because the tank was “infected” I had a Freightliner dealer recommend replacing the tank…@ $2500…
that was instead of draining and treating it -
I hate to agree with Jon on anything, but his “Dump Truk” is the winner on this entire thread. Way to go Jon, sharp as ever.
P.S. Tom, bet you never saw that (name this boo-boo) coming when you started this thread, did you?

Thats right, no 10 year rule.
The camping is free, all you have to do is get one of Jeff’s famous oil changes !!!!!!!!!!!
Truk and I are working on a larger fire pit.

Hish,
We had the Tecma macerator toilet in our Dynasty. What a headache! It had the flush button that would illuminate when it was empty, half full and full. The light was green, yellow and red respectively.
It would go to red for no reason. I had to back flush over and over again to get it to reset.
I seriously thought about getting a pedal toilet and be done! I don’t miss it.
Safe travels,
Mark

Per,
A dragstrip is only 1,380′ long, not counting the cool down area. The H-3 45, or any other Prevost would be hard pressed to reach 60 MPH within 1,380′. You might get close but me thinks the timing ticket will show something less than 60 MPH.So when the run is complete, please post the timing ticket, for verification. Th edrag strip might even pay your fuel and or repair bills if you do it as part of a weekend program.
Of course I have a “classic” 8Vp2 so who am I to judge.

HJ,
Just immerse yourself in the forum. Don’t worry about asking questions because every single one of us had no clue when we were kicking tires and we all know how intimidating a Prevost can be. Ask away and recognize there are wide variations between the body styles or the H3 and the XL or XLII coaches. There are hot button questions that relate to slides, full coach air conditioning versus driver’s air, roof mounted AC units versus units mounted in the bays, and then there are opinions about floor plans, and the converters. There is a lot to absorb and your job is to try to separate opinion from facts.
Look at the coaches for sale on this and other sites. Go to a rally and look at coaches and talk to the owners away from salesmen who are going to sell what they have in inventory. Read the articles. Refine your budget to reflect you can buy a coach and spend some money to make it your own.
Read the articles in the articles section. Consider all of the aspects of ownership from operating costs, purchase price, maintenance, storage when not in use, learning the coach, insuring it, and the fun of owning it.

If you’re relying on auto-start and that sounds like what you’re saying, the inverter settings could have different values. Gen power and shore power as relates to input voltage should be the same or at least close.

It may require the whole bottle unless Geo has some knowledge of the fancy handshake required to get past all the robotic telephone system answering devices, types in his account number and telephone number, and the has to listen to how important his phone call is, just before he gets 10 minutes of advertising and then a real person that thinks an RV is a new version of a Humvee.
