Just my opinion for your info.
I installed this kit but it didn’t help fuel still spurts out unless you fill very very slow.
A good friend of mine told me he opened the opposite side he was filling from to see if this helped unfortunately he had fuel come spilling out the opposite side until his wife came running and told him to stop.

Here’s what I’ve seen:
Prevost built slides but limited to two slides, although I heard rumors they may come out with a four slide option;
Marathon can use Valid slides and maybe other converters may use the Valid slide on occasion. I’ve seen Marathon put up to three slides, but I believe they could put four slides in if you wanted.
And, I’ve seen older Featherlite buses which used HWH slides.
There may be more, but I think that covers it.

Tim…
The only thing I have found that helps is to put the last 10 or so gal in “with a straw”. By that I mean very slowly. I never use the “on clip” on even the slow setting on the fuel nozzle, especially if filling at a high volume truck pump. But even the dribble approach is not an absolute…I still get burps occasionally. I’m always ready to jump/step away during a fill. I seemed to notice less foam & burping with diesel that has lower levels of ethanol, but that may not be the case either, and these days we don’t have many options in that regard anyway.
I’m surprised that your coach has the problem…I had thought it most often occurred in 90’s vintage coaches.

How high is up? Both questions, yours and mine are impossible to begin to answer without a lot more information, and even then the coach buyer is really the only one who can make the decision based on financial considerations, coach condition, how it is set up, etc.
A coach now well beyond 10 years is going to have a lot of items to spend money on unless they have been part of a maintenance program. An inspection and review of the coach service history will reveal more detail regarding coach condition and potential future costs of ownership.
A Vantare has always been regarded as a good conversion and Vantare owners are loyal and like them. But like any coach it has the potential to become a nightmare or may be a perfect coach.
I presume the buyer has done his homework and is prepared to get qualified help in inspecting a coach.

Pretty sure I removed my rear gauge and installed a pipe plug.

Detroit series 60 engine oil filter # 1971 is made by Wix. This part number can be upgraded to heavy duty using 1971 xp which changes the filter paper type inside the can an upgrade for special service applications.
Wix filters over and over have more paper wrap inside the can and will preform removing more trash caught as oil travels in and out the filter.
Private brand oil filters i.e. Detroit Diesel, Cat, are let out for bid based on specifications required by buyer.
So….. buying a NAPA filter #1971 is there best filter with premium components and superior manufacturing.

I’m pretty sure we’ll find this is the for the later coaches with the side by side radiator and charge air cooler.

In July my foot valve was hanging up on front brakes so we were in northern calif so I called Prevost and the part# on the valve had been superseated by a different part # both Bendix parts but the new valve was a little different but it worked great. I went to a truck supply shop for the valve. Here is a pic of old valve, The new valve I had to use old spacer Old bendix #109174 E15 new Bendix #800632 E10 valve

It was the longest 2 hours of my life following two Prevosts. The one leading was pulling a great big red neck pickup that you need a step to get into and using a Pintle hook for a hitch, so it’s dancing around behind him and the one in front of me keeps hitting the rumble strips claiming he was dodging pot holes. Then I look in my mirror and see an H on my ass blinking his lights to get me to go faster.
‘There is for sure garden material in this thread.

Up here on the Cumberland Plateau we are experiencing abnormally cold weather (1°F). The good thing is that all the homes in The Gardens RV Village have large garages. Our coach is loving the 72°F indoor environment while outside is a bit rough.

You cannot take your coach on any parkway iin N.Y.

As I mentioned supra (big word, I know), my wife does not want slides and I would prefer the extra space; however, we’ve yet to stay anywhere longer than two weeks, except Panama Fred’s drive-way at Christmas while in Kansas.
Could a slide coach be in our future … one does not know, but like TRUK, we haven’t missed the extra space since we entertain outside.
However, who knows, 2018 could bring our H into the marketplace for that next coach. But I know we’ll never catch up to Tom or Jon in buying/selling coaches.
