EXCITEMENT WITH A CAPITAL “E”
I am sitting safely in the parking lot where coaches for the upcoming Prevost show are sitting awaiting tomorrow when they will be brought into the show.
To get here I paired up with Jeff in Ashburn GA, and then Tom hooked up with us in central FL.
It was when Jeff took the lead on the way down the FL turnpike that the excitement began.
Jeff was running so fast I actually had to get the coach up to 65 MPH which is a huge stretch from my normal 62.5 MPH. My heart was pounding at those speeds. I never realized how fast that was until Tom tried to call me on the CB. He never did reach me because at those speeds we were running the radio waves couldn’t keep up because Tom was following me. They just fell to the ground before they reached me.
For those astute enough to recognize the disconnect between my criticism of the use of cell phones while driving and my apparent willingness to use a CB while driving, don’t despair. I used my hands free CB so no harm was done.
If you are coming to the show stop buy and I can share more lies.

Jon, have you ever seen a Prevost spin the rear wheels ?
He left here Sat night and Sunday morning when I went to McDonalds for breakfast and pulled out on the highway there were four distinct rubber marks burned into the pavement.
I thought I could still detect a small cloud of smoke rising off the highway.
Check the tread depth on those new tires Monday morning when you have time.

Hands free CB, now I heard it all. Every time hey keyed the mike in the background I could hear the Lennon sisters. Jeff was in the lead and was like a raped ape having to stick to 62 mph to keep ole grumpy happy. Plus Kim is with him and he can’t smoke in the bus, so talk about being wound up.

I know Jon’s story is true because I was behind Tom and could hear both Jon and Tom clearly. I guess I was driving into those radio waves, or hearing them as they bounced along the ground after Jon ran off and left them.

Now that it is daylight I can see the difference running the same speeds the big boys run. Because my normal 62.5 MPH has been described as slow that might explain why when I have to clear bug splatters they are on the rear of the bus. This morning I noticed the bug splatters are on the windshield.
I understand Tom got a letter from the FL DOT this morning advising him he has to go back and pick up those radio waves that fell to the ground between mile markers 97 and 200.

Jeff is lying. He was going so slow I had to pull up close and draft him so he could squeeze some speed out of his coach.
In the meantime, I learned later tom’s CB messages that were falling to the ground were of him crying for Jeff and I to slow down.
I don’t think anyone can believe anything posted on this forum. These Prevost guys need to bing what they are spreading to my garden.

As Jeff led the convoy south I wonder if he realized he was just a phone call away from leading the subjects of Florida’s very first double Silver Alert.

It was the longest 2 hours of my life following two Prevosts. The one leading was pulling a great big red neck pickup that you need a step to get into and using a Pintle hook for a hitch, so it’s dancing around behind him and the one in front of me keeps hitting the rumble strips claiming he was dodging pot holes. Then I look in my mirror and see an H on my ass blinking his lights to get me to go faster.

As I was about to get to the bottom of this post, when my screen went totally brown. Must have been some of that stuff Jon wants delivered to Knoxville. TP won’t clear the screen as the brown is on the inside! Guess I’ll have to call the local Computer Doctors to get everything cleaned up.

Hey Will, just take a power washer to your computer. That will take care of the problem.
