Les, just include the toilet seat on the pre-trip check list. We always would put it down before driving so it would not bang when we were moving.

Now we have the slow close seat and we have removed that item from the check list.

But there ain’t no way I would change seats just to get that feature. We have it because I changed the entire toilet and the new toilet had it.

Dick, the coolant switch has a “float” arm, if it is installed upside down, the switch will not work. Don’t have a picture, but if you look at it, you can see what I’m talking about.

Take a look at any nylon wire tie. All that is visible on my coach is the fat end. Use white if you want it really visible, use black if you want it less noticeable.

I have no clue how to do this on a coach with sliding windows on the door, it is easy to do with a powered toll window.

    William,

FYI Michelin has now upped their warranty to 7 years from install date, so your 2013’s would be good until 2020 provided they are inspected and no weather checks.

Looking at the size of the pieces chewed from the turbo blades I suspect the wish would be the parts and pieces got intercepted by the CAC.

My guess is that they were small enough to be carried right through the CAC.

Keep this in mind………we likely flow somewhere between 150 and 200 POUNDS of air through our engines per hour. Once something gets into that air flow it is moving at a high rate of speed so while it might bounce around a little as it reaches the CAC whatever is being carried in that air flow is likely going to pass through especially since it appears the metal filings and shavings that got chewed up un the turbo were fairly small.

On my 94 CC if I ran the gen with the bay door open the temps would jump way up. With the door closed it would run the proper temp, I figured it had to do with how the air was drawn by the fan through the radiator and exhausted out of the bottom of the bay.

Joe, it’s now the 25+ year rule with those of us with “classic coaches.”

Michael, glad to see that you are coming. Would have missed you. Can’t wait to leave. It’s snowing and blowing here. Spring is here, I think.
