What’s a smart phone?
Is it a phone, a camera, a garage door opener, or what?

Hi Dick and thanks, I just added it to my profile.Harry

Tom, it only means that Jeff and I are having a hard time getting together (conversation wise), but we are trying…lol Life keeps us pretty busy, but I did get some very good info from him today.
Certainly nothing bad meant at all if you took it that way. It was meant to be humerous.

Didn’t know I posted my budget anywhere, maybe I did and didn’t know it. Hell I would delete the whole thread if I could, but can’t seem to figure out how.
All I thoght I was doing was asking for a set of eyes. Reckon not.

That is the way Cruiseairs have been fine tuned. It has been a while but that point is reached just as the fluid in the sight glass is changing from foamy bubbles to almost pure liquid. It still has passage of miniscule bubbles when it is at its coldest.
Cruiseairs are very sensistive to the charge of R22 and a little less or a little more than the right amount can make a difference. Unlike most systems where the gauges are the primary way to know when the charge is right, in the case of Cruiseairs it tends to be the line temperature.

The tag lift chamber (verify the size, it will be stamped in the can somewhere) consists of the two outer shells held together with the bands, a big rubber diaphragm that is so big in diameter that it is pinched between the two shells, and the push rod which has a big round steel plate welded on its end inside the outer shell. There is a spring at the push rod side of the big round plate that pushes the rod and its plate back against the diaphragm so when air is not applied the push rod retracts.
You can take the old one apart and when you loosen the clamps just hold the two shell halves together with your free hand. The spring is not so strong it will hurt you but it does push a little. When it is apart you will see how simple the brake chamber is.
As soon as you see how the brake chamber is made all your questions will be answered.
The brand is relatively unimportant because this type of chamber has become generic and just telling a parts counter guy you want a #36 brake chamber he will understand completely what you mean.

Got it!
Tom, I don’t mix my Marathon Aux compressor with the Prevost side air either and I only have the one 12v for Marathon.
So Jon, right now since I stay at 105psi for weeks on the Prevost side, I’m not really sure how to track down if it’s a check valve in the F or R right now, or whether it’s that important since all my DOT brake checks don’t lose any psi over the course of several minutes.

This has turned into quite a thread. All we’re missing is a plane and chopper and we’d cove all major food groups! All I was thinking of is a Jeep SUV, foolish me! -
Four 5 year old Lifelines going through two Freedom 458 inverter/chargers. Gave them a good charge with the generator in the evening. Used them on invert to watch a 2hr movie (flat panel and DVD the only load) and went to bed. Next morning not enough juice to run the coffee maker. Two questions:
Is it a consensus that 5 years is end-of-life for Lifelines?
I want to try a couple equalization cycles to see if that helps at all. Will flipping the DC disconnect switch on my console isolate enough stuff to protect bus electronics from the higher voltage or is it best to do a cable disconnect at the panel in the battery/Inverter bay?
Thanks!

Thanks Jon, so they’ve all had 4? -
There is an ongoing investigation into the disappearance of the PC dues money. It is being conducted by all the former Illinois governors who were or are currently imprisoned. We figured who would be better at finding hidden money than those guys.

Tim,
The new controller that comes with the Razor is a direct replacement for the batwing controller. All it needs is 12v and your coax cables and you’re up and running. I didn’t do a plate to mount the antenna. I made a metal cover to cover the Marathon hole, screwed, siliconed the holes and then self leveling caulk. Marathon screwed the batwing directly to the roof, so I mounted the Razor the same way, it has 3 feet so you can position it anyway you want. It only weighs 4 lbs.

So let me see if I can sort this out. You might have access to the engine via a hatch in the rear bedroom floor, but you cannot access the access because the bed in the bedroom has to be disassembled to access the access.
Makes sense.
I think.
From experience I can tell you that you can do everything needed on the 8V92 from the rear of the coach or the sides, but if you do not want to access your access you will have to access the 50DN and the power steering pump from beneath the coach, and by beneath the coach I mean with the coach up in the air.
