Sid, I have used the Blue Ox brand Tow Bar for 20+ years with no issues. This is a Ford vs Chevy conversation.

Yes, the bolt holes line up, the distance is different on the air fittings, but can adapt it.
Thanks Mike and Jon!

I rebuilt a 2-way norgren, the one that dumps the left tag air bag when raising the tag axle, and I used all compression fittings for the valve. That seems to have fixed my leaks in the rear, at least for now. I thought I had a leak on the right rear, but replacing the ball valves on the per-bag tanks might have fixed that. I also replaced the ball valves on the from air bags. So far I seem to be maintaining a level coach.

What control board?

Call Brian Gabel. Mike

I’m wondering the same thing. Is there a flange that gets the window aligned evenly around the perimeter before you seal it in place?

Mike, great job! Did you pull the turbo yet? Come on, go for it! Please take lots of pics. A couple years ago I found a brand new one on Craigslist but haven’t developed the courage to swap it out yet.

Dan,
Who did you use, PC or NTCS?

depending on the space required and how close to original you are wanting to stay. some people really seem to like the California air compressors

Good info John, Thank You. I am guessing the studs are going to come out due to the heavy rust on the nuts and studs. I have spare studs and Nuts ready but no sealant, do you know what sealant is recommended? Is there a torque spec for the studs? Hard to locate info like this from Detroit. I am prepared to check for cracks and flatness on the exhaust manifolds also. I can resurface them if needed.
Here is where I bought the studs, nuts, gaskets

Andy: I presume John Hawkins is still in the Chattanoga area which is only a few hours from ETLC, Josh, and Jeff in Vonore, TN. Fly to Chattanoga, ride to ETLC with John in the coach, and have Jeff Rowe and his crew do a full pre-purchase inspection. That way both you and John will know the full story on the coach. Our coach was 18 miles from the ETLC shop when we were looking at it and Jeff did an inspection and identified the deficiencies which entered into the negotiation. Once a deal was finalized Jeff got the coach in his shop and I started spending money on it.
Prior to buying our coach I rented 26′ Class C’s twice and rented a 40′ early 1990’s Prevost for a weekend. I so got into the Prevost club with very little previous experience.
Good luck! Keep us posted.
