H.J.: Once you figure it out, use a Brother label maker to put a small placard by the switch telling whether the key needs to be ON or not. Then you’ll never forget.

Yes, the cartridges do provide filtration, but I know a Prevost OTR system also has filters and a sediment bowl.
If the cartridges are new, and blank I agree with opening the valve. If they are not blanks I would leave the valves shut and open them in 6 months. But again, make sure you have the 2 year coolant or the cartidges are blanks.

I would be interested in finding out how it interacts with those of us who have aftertreatment on our engines. I do not have DEF, but do have a particulate filter and catalyst and do regenerations. Do these things work under those parameters without screwing anything up?
I ask because almost all of the other solutions stopped prior to the 2007 EPA engines.

I am with Jack in that the generator on this coach smokes more than the one on my Legendary ever did. I did not see any difference when changing the air filter FWIW. It is not to the point of being like an old Mack truck, but it is still visible at many times. The two generators are the same Kohler with the Yanmar engine.
