On the listing of relays it is identified. I can’t remember the number either but using the diagram and listing it is easy to identify.

Any coach except the ones with Knorr-Bremse chambers.

Note, the T bolt is sized per the chamber so what works on a 30-36 drive axle is not likely to work on a 16-24 tag axle chamber.

Look at the rear of the combination brake chambers (2 hoses going to them). If you see a hole in the center or a hole with a rubber plug it uses the T bolt, and the T bolt should be stored with the nut on the side of the brake chamber.

    That was Tom’s.

All of the efforts to strip the bus of parts is intended to reduce weight so when the slides are added it will not exceed the axle weight limits. The bus does look funny without the outer skin panels however.

As a part of this conversation, we have just completed the exchange of two water heaters in our coach. I have yet to drive it at 195 degrees with the water heater switches in the “on” position to determine if it heats the water while underway.

It is my understanding from other excellent comments on another thread on this subject…. that while underway, the switches in the “on” position release one valve and close another to divert the heated coolant through the water heater exchangers. In a separate comment that was made, it was suggested that I also place the “central heat button” in the “on” position.

    My questions are these:

1.) Am I correct in assuming that the coolant “release” through the water heater heat exchangers will not occur until the coolant is released by an internal thernostat after the engine coolant has reached highway temperatures? If so, I do not know where that thermostat is?

2.) If I do indeed turn on the “central heat control” switch as well, it turns on the furnace. Is it correct to assume that this process opens the valves and that the coolant passing through the furnace would only be heated by the furnace if the engine coolant was not hot enough? It seems that if the furnace is on and engine heated coolant is passing through it, the furnace would not call for heating but would be in a “monitoring” position while underway?

Any explanations for what is supposed to happen?

    Thank you,

    Pres

I think an air gun for lube is overkill. I actually like to feel resistance increase so I don’t overlube.

    Towson,

If you aren’t having problems with shore power you reinforce my opinion (as a Liberty owner) the issue is isolated to the transfer switch. If I am right and all these Marathon guys are wrong I am going to do a happy dance, but if they are right does anyone know where I can get a decent size crow for dinner?

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and information. I little background info, we were bringing the coach home on our maiden trip. We were not heavily loaded but the tires had been set to 107 front 100 drive and 90 on the tags. I am familiar with wheel weighing and setting to the chart with maybe + 5psi. But had not been weighed yet. the tires are about 18 months old, but for whatever reason, the valve stems had not been replaced with the tires. My plans were to head to ETLC have the valve stems replaced and some other zeroing work done. The coach has 25k miles ( yes I know non use is hard on it) the good news is that it spend most of its life in a hanger in North Dakota ( cooler climate ). The last set of Mitchen’s I bought for my Foretravel were purchased locally from a reputable commercial tired dealer, but, they did not have new valve stems to fit. So I really don’t want to go back there.

Monday morning I will will call Coach-Net and have them send someone out to try and fix the flat. Then I’ll move it to the storage unit were I keep it about 5 miles away. Next I’ll go about ordering a new tire. I’ll have to have the local guys install it. Does anyone know that proper size valve stem I need, so I can make sure they have one?

I am seriously considering a Pressure Pro TPMS. I had SOB unit that was a real pain, always giving false alarms, more trouble than it was worth. So if Tom, can assure me that Pressure Pro works better and that sensors are not leaking, I maybe interested.

Thanks again for all the comments. They confirmed some of my info and added new important info.

Liberty owners need to organize an intervention with Lonestar and get his copper piping brought back to its appropriate level of luster.

P.S.: The engine driven air conditoners are completely separate from the Cruisairs. The condensors are just aft of the front axel about mid-bus. There are evaporators with fans at the dash, in the toe kick under the kitchen cabinets, and in the bedroom/bath area. The long hose runs from the engine bay to the dash area were prone to leaking as they aged and were very expensive to replace. Improper change-over from R-12 to R-132 refrigerant was blamed for premature aging of those hoses. After ours went bad we just ran the generator and let the Cruisairs keep us cool. That worked fine up to about 100 degrees.

Yet it allows a Boat ? And says ” or similar Dwelling ” Hummm ? Unfair IMO , Epecially for these folks traveling for their Business ! I bet those big Campaign Buses get Written off some how ? And what about all the entertainer Coach’s ? They have Kitchens and Bathrooms and Sleeping quarters ? Are they considered an RV ? There are a Lot of Bands that wear the roads out and after paying for their Coach , Maitenance , Tires and Fuel. Have very little left. They have to put 2 Babies in the same Diaper to make ends Meet ! And there is a lot of folks that travel to work in Construction or trade skills that Live in Rv’s to keep their expenses down.

How many folks on here use their Coach for Business travel or Racing ? Me thinks this Judge Bumped His Head ???

I can tell you that prevost is the only place to have the delam done or checked out, most coaches have had it done but if they are over ten years old prevost does not do good will for the fix , once it’s done it will never come loose again fiberglass panel on top or the stainless panels below windows , Have them checked out by Prevost

If it’s been done on the bottom it will have the panel strips on it and if done on top the rubber seal from panel to window will have black seka to replace the rubber gasket from window to panel which is nothing more than cosmetic on the outside that gasket does nothing expect let water run down the tube outside of window and not down the window it’s a tube open at top and bottom so water can run inside tube and not down the window
