If I am not mistaken your coach is a 99 model which means it meets the criteria……..
Only Prevost experts can tell the difference between model years.

The people in Hudson were very efficient and accomodating as can be. They have decent parking/plug-ins, free while you have your windows fixed, but we stayed at the Hampton Inn in Spring Hill, just about 5 miles away.
They could only fix the driver’s side window, as the one just behind it is curved and they cannot fix curved windows……..I only wish they would have told me this when I called to make an appointment and told them exactly which 2 windows needed to be fixed!.
They charged me $250 for the driver’s window and I am pleased with their work.
Now if only Port Charlotte RV had done as good a job on my OTR I would be really happy….. it worked for a couple of days then started blowing hot again and this is after 9 days in the shop and $3500!
I called them yesterday, they said: “bring it back we will make it right”……..why could they not have done it right the first time!!! Now I have to waste more time!!! And supposedly the owner of this RV place used to own a “fleet” of Prevosts and knows all about them!

Maybe I paid too much, which seems to be the norm lately, but the seats turned out great! The foam that was in the ISRI seat was thin and was easy to collapse. The new foam is much denser, I think they said something about 2.5 something. I also had them increased the foam on the front because the seat bottom doesn’t tilt enough for me. Although I only drove it a few miles I’m optimistic this is going to make long drives so much better.
While there my wife opted to change out the couch. It too was not comfortable. We opted for a dual recliner sofa. Wow is it comfortable! This change has me retinking my front TV upgrade. I’m leaning toward the removal of the desk and associated drawers. In their place I’ll but in an entertainment cabinet and wall hunging cabinet that houses a 40″ or so LED TV on a lift. When it’s not in use it won’t be seen, when needed it will raise out of the cabinet.

Looking good Rodger !!!

Rodger,
Wow! The new paint looks really nice. My plans for repainting my coach include a few elements similar to yours, so I especially like seeing the final product. I really like the black primary color. Many people on other boards think going with black leads to the end of the world. All of my vehicles for the last 10+ years have been black and I have adjusted to the “heat” and “dirty all the time” issues. I also like the line of demarcation you used between the paint above and the stainless below. My plans are to use the exact same line as I like seeing a lot of the shiney stuff!
Did you do this entirely yourself, parts of it yourself, or have a paint shop complete it? I am not sure I am talented enough to spray the paint, but I think I could complete most of the prep work.

sometimes our air system gets sticky(dry) I have put puematic oil : lube like you use in air tools;a few drops in supply line and done wonders for air wipers and norgen valves(sticking/slugish). They simply dry out and accumilate a little corrision over time. Like a air tool . Cured my 89 wipers. Bob

Mine stopped suddenly after a couple knocks and a bang. Shattered gearbox! A mounting bolt backed out and was hit by the actuator arm. Suggest you check the bolts.

The Blue Ox base plate is installed on the 2006 Scion xB. Everything went very smoothly. You can see more pics of the install HERE.

With the tabs removed it is virtually invisible…

That’s the SMX control owner’s manual and I couldn’t find anything about your specific problem. Best bet is likely gong to be AAP at 804-633-9454
Before I called I would plug and unplug all connections and reboot as Tom suggests to see if that cures the issue.

I’m taking it to HWH tomorrow to see if they fix it. I’ve got a valve that’s part of their system leaking so I’m hoping they can fix the whole thing. If not I’ll have to try the things you guys are suggesting. Thanks for all the advice.

Which 24v relay was it Tony? Where is it located exactly?

Dano,
I have had trouble with
the motor/gear assembly on this one as well as the Liberty I had. If
you look under the seat while pushing the button, you should see the
motor and assembly trying to move. If the motor is still good, it
will just move ever so slightly. If there is absolutely no movement,
the motor is probably bad. All of this assumes the wiring and switch is OK.Once I got mine apart, the motor was fine, but the transmission
gear was gunked up so bad I couldn’t even turn it by hand. Soaking in
solvent got it loosened up it now works fine. On both of mine, the
problem was the transmission and not the motor. I have some parts if
needed.

Time for an Update and a hearty thanks to everyone for the input….I think problem has been resolved. While we are still away from home,it is temporary, but seems to be working. The last 2 days with temps in high 90s and with direct sun hitting the Psgr side of bus (where battery compartment is) I have not had the problem. This because I put a small cirulating fan usually in the bus to help move air about, and using it during the heat of the day with my bay door slightly ajar (handle in closed postion) (thanks to Alex & Lucia for that tidbit). I have checked battery case temps and also tightened on of my battery connections (they are now repositioned so as when I close the battery bank on its slide, the cables are not being pressured to move. I feel comortable with this outcome, and will be looking for a nice metal shrouded fan similar to what used to be used in bus/truck windoes and with at least 150 cfm potential, and as Truck ,will have it hard wired with fuse and set up to force air out of the compartment. Thanks again to all,it just never really ends, does it?

Rodger,I have used the cruise air charts but I have found that they are only somewhat accurate, the way that Johnny told me to charge the cruise airs was to get the suction fitting as cold as possible,I use an IR theromemeter and wedge it into the area pointed at the suction fitting with a rubber band on the trigger and adjust the freon for the lowest temperature and I have found that the cruise air will have 15-20 degrees differential with this method.I am in Lexington Kentucky today and it was 101 here today and my coach hit a high of 72,it really maintained 71 almost all day.
