no, I have not had my tires purged of air; simply use the nitrogen to top off. Got in the habit of using nitrogen when we needed it for go-kart racing. Don’t know if I could actually purchase a tank of plain old compressed air at a lower cost than nitrogen.

Yes bushings can be purchased. You will likely find that these are not stocked.
Are you sure they are bad? You can’t tell by looking at the visible rubber.

Thanks Tom for the tip!

Great reminder of this very important
pre-trip inspection. Let’s face it, stopping 50K lbs of bus in an
emergency situation absolutely demands that everything is working
properly, your life may depend on it. -
I tow an 08 Avalance 4×4 with the Air Force One braking system and blue ox base plates.
We have been very pleased with the Avalance. Would do it again.

Dave,
Your bus is at the 6 year mark and the normal wear items are tires, batteries and possibly shocks. You may have already taken care of those items. You’re the second person I know with fan problems for your vintage, wonder if there was a bad batch of components back then.

The King of Bling is Roger, the guy from east TN that owns a bunch of car lots and his phone number is BR549. When he shakes hands with you, be sure to count your fingers. You’ll see him at OKC and he’ll be the guy with pockets full of money.

I had the shutdown happen on our generator in the Country Coach. That unit was a 12.5 KW Onan. Every once in a while and just restarted it.
At 1800 hrs. you have a long way to go for bearing replacement. Keep in mind they are built to run.
Got caught in Texoma where the electric panels just scared me a little. Fired up the generator turning off 71 striaght hours later. It’s a Marathon…LOL
On the Country Coach I had no idea why I hesitated running the generator at times. When sold 670 hours.

C’mon Dale, point that thing to OKC for a couple of days.
Good info on the tranny, the guys with 5 speeds will be checking their fluid level.

It is only $950 at Prevost!
