    Dano,

    I have had trouble with
the motor/gear assembly on this one as well as the Liberty I had. If
you look under the seat while pushing the button, you should see the
motor and assembly trying to move. If the motor is still good, it
will just move ever so slightly. If there is absolutely no movement,
the motor is probably bad. All of this assumes the wiring and switch is OK.

Once I got mine apart, the motor was fine, but the transmission
gear was gunked up so bad I couldn’t even turn it by hand. Soaking in
solvent got it loosened up it now works fine. On both of mine, the
problem was the transmission and not the motor. I have some parts if
    needed.

Mine works great at times. Sometimes it will move 1/2 way up and stop. Sometimes it will go up and down without any problem. Due to erratic problem I figured switch was failing. I wiggled and played with wires to no avail. Maybe a new switch will fix it if I can find one or get name of brand used.

Dan- My drivers seat was giving me start/stop problems,I had trouble finding replacement motors (3 of them in all) and wound up finding an older GMC pickup truck power seat with the same motors.Goat all 3 for $10 at a local junk yard (hmmm do we call them that anymore ,is it PC?). The control on the side of the seat I found Colaws in Joplin,MO,they see to have a lot of older bus stuff. Google will findem.

Dan I agree with Truk on this one, something is binding up.
