Regarding the Pilot / Flying J card, the way it works is you are signing up for a Pilot / Flying J credit card and you have a monthly limit of $1000 unless you go for automatic withdrawal from your checking account in which case the limit is $2500.
I’m awaiting mine. However for years I had always paid cash, but when it got to be a hassle to pay cash (pull up to pump, go inside wait in line and give them $XXXX cash, go out and pump fuel, go back inside and wait in line to get your change and receipt) I fought with them and finally got corporate Pilot to give me a commercial account card which gave me cash price at the pump and I would pay an emailed bill once a month. Since the RV card gives a discount I am now going to use that. The pump starts with the card and you never have to leave the pump. The card turns it on, you fill the bus and you drive away. You do need to write down what you pumped and the dollars of the sale because the pump will not kickout a receipt.
It is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. No waiting in line, you get a discount, and the price you pay is likely lower than any other diesel price unless you get a truck stop with really discounted prices.

If the state, county, town or whoever is responsbile for the bridge only puts a weight limit sign on one side, how could they inforce any libility on the poor uninformed public?
Besides, John will be much lighter when he returns… LOL

Karl,Liberty has the shutters set up so that if they are closed with the ignition key on then they are open with the key off, since almost all Liberty’s have bus air it is not necessary to supply air to the cruise airs going down the road but you do want to supply air when camping. The shutters also help keep the cruise airs and the steering bay clean. If yours are out of sequence just close them with the key on and that will put them in sequence. Also turning on the Webasto will also close them.

I know for sure based on a story told me by a friend that attempts to discharge black water from a coach can have consequences.
My friend in a moment of insanity pulled into the fast lane and was going to empty his holding tank by using the macerator to spray the contents onto the grassy median. He successfully emptied the holding tank, but at the end of a hot day of driving in the sun he found the air flow around our coaches is strong enough to draw a spray behind the coach where his black tank contents ended up all over his new Grand Cherokee, in the door cracks, in the fresh air vents, etc. Washing his Grand Cherokee merely reconstituted what had been dried on the car making the wash job very unpleasant.

I think that Jon and John Kloop were working on a patent for just such a system last fall. I would think they have the necessary parts list and installation instructions almost done by now. Keep an eye out for a posting on it!
Be assured, it will have enough pressure to get the job done!

Hey guys my names Tyler, I’m a prefessional metal polisher living in Nashville Tennessee as you all know as the bus capitol of the U.S. . Prevost coaches make up 95% of what I do. I just wanted to let you know a full stainless job costs no less than $1300 ranging up to $3000. Where as a set of wheels go for a mere $80 to $150.

Hi Jon,
You may be right. It is split in a two places so if I could get it patched that might be the way to go.
Thanks,

I found this in an H3 maintenance manual.

Based on that I suspect the window needs to be at least opened, and maybe removed to check the seal. The fixed windows are permanently installed and sealed with Sikaflex, but the larger windows look like following the procedure listed in the PDF above will allow it to be opened or removed so the seal can be checked.
The key is finding out how Vantare put the interior in place so you can access the screws which retain the window. Any H3 Vantare owners here have any advice? My guess is once you can access the bottom fasteners it is going to take two people on ladders to get the window open or out sufficiently to verify the seal is OK or needs adjustment or replacing. Can Ron Walker jump in here and maybe give some hints?

When I first got my coach, mine did not make this same noise but I had a very leaky coach, especially the front norgren between the front tires. I replaced it with a new one, the leaking air stopped but this “fog horn” noise started. On mine, after the coach airs up to travel position, everything is fine until I shut the coach off after the trip. Immedicately after shutting down, mine starts to “sing like a fog horn”. The horn blasts last about 5 sec and occur every 20 sec until the coach loses enough air to settle onto the stops. Once on the stops, no more “fog horn” noise. I have noticed, purely by accident, if I am inside the coach and walk around, as I shift the coach weight around the noise will stop and start. I would really like to know what is causing this as it is embarassing pulling into a campground and having the coach “sing” for several hours if I decide not to dump the air and level the coach since I have hydralic levelers rather than air.
