Can’t it be removed and repaired cheaper? A little fiberglass, some mesh and bondo plus new paint ought to have it looking like new.

I’m shooting from the lip here so verify this. The Prevost shop manuals which are available for your specific coach on-line from here : http://prevostparts.volvo.com/technicalpublications/en/manuel.asp may even have information as to how to make repairs to components like the bumper cover. It may take a little digging on your part, but if the cover can be repaired my guess is Prevost will outline the procedure and materials required.

I might suggest you check with companies who re-fit coach wil more modern front and rear ends. When we need the center part of our front bumper to an H3-45 we owned, Bill Jensen got me on contact with Doug Stoffel with Excaliber Coach in Florida. They were in the middle of refacing a coach, and we got the used part we needed. Then we took it over to our local body shop for paint, and then we installed it.

I do have the service manual and it does show how to make fiberglass repairs so that would be a help. I have had trouble with the online manuals since they start at year 2000. Is there a way to pull up the older ones? I had to buy the book copy because Prevost told me that did not have mine electronic. I will investigate the repair.

I have poked around various shop manuals on line to try to give accurate answers but I cannot say what manuals are available and what ones are not.

I do know I have pulled up pneumatic and electrical diagrams for coaches built back in the 80’s, but the quality of the drawings is not up to the current standards but the drawings are there. As to the manuals I don’t know which are or are not available. Give me the pertinent poop on yours, coach type, serial number (last 4 digits plus the year designation letter or number) and I will see if I can pull up a service manual.

Mine is a 96 chassis and my service manual is on line. But I carry a hard copy in the coach.
