    Rod,

Your water heater will be kept hot by the engine coolant when your driving, provided it’s not shut off, and your bay will keep warm. You can turn on your Webasto, set your thermostats and your Webasto will give you heat without actually firing the diesel burner. The engine will be hot and the Webasto pump will circulate the coolant to your heat exchangers.

I keep my valves for the hot water heater shut off because the water is scaulding when driving.

Vantare has 2 regulators, one for the front, and one for the back (Gen end). But, they are not adjustable from side to side.

    Jerry,

If those are the blubs in the Vantare light panels that glow green and change to red, they are not incandenscent, they are bi-color LED’s.

Data Display Products (DDPLEDS.COM) states they no longer make that part, you will need to order a DDP replacement MG200-LRG15H. They say to use the 15V part vs. the 12V part to prevent early failure due to battery voltage increase, etc.

You will need to order through a distributor as DDP only take orders of $750 or larger.:

sounds like they tried to tap 12 volt off ign switch 12 volt feed to ddec. yellow wire. would suggest to tap off 12 volt feed in front box below drivers window toward rear. breaker should be extra open only live when ign switch is turned on. There are two bus bar feeds there one 12 volt and othe 24 volt 12 volt is toward rear and is verticle stack. yellow=12 volt red is 24volt always check Bob

More info please. We would love to meet the bunch. Does not sound like much of a drive from Boca Raton! I assume this is near Bradenton or Tampa?

Things we like to do in Las Vegas. Imperial Hotel Car Museum, Hoover Dam( leave the bus behind, tell Di not to look over downstream while on the dam. See Ethel M Chocolates (Mars Candy). Drive thru Red Rocks Park, is west of resort. See the architecture in buildings at new ” City Center”. Go to Old Downtown, nearby is Pawn Stars

Go up the Stratusphere Casino, and take Di on the “Big Shot” ride. She will love it more than going up Mt Evans. Take a pretty drive up to ski area on Mt Charleston. While in Vegas, if time permits, a few days in Death Valley. Love it there

Go east on I 15 to Motor Speedway to see Shelby museum. Also take Di to the Fashion Mall, shopping for her, interesting architecture for you

oh ya the Bellagio Hotel and Casino has an amazing display of Chihuly glass that’s hand blown. A walk around Ceasars palace Forums for canal boats and great restaurants and watch the ceiling change from day to nights cape. Tour Wynn hotel and see the Ferrari dealership

As you can tell, we keep our pennies in our pocket for diesel, too.

I’ve done 93 and 95 that time of year and have not hit snow on either. In my experience the 93 route has much better roads.

Do you have parking or will you be staying at the Las Vegas Motor Coach Resort? We love it there.

That is going to be a hard job. You can keep it greased often a lot easier than trying to replace the dust covers.

Michael, a phone call to the factory will get the answers you need on the credit application or you have the option of just using your credit card.

As to ordering parts, I have always talked to a real live person. That does not mean I am not prepared to talk about what I need, just that if the part has been superceded I can get the latest information and so far I have never had to send a part back.

    Did this ever get corrected?

Gil’s comment about the voltage adding to 250 volts got me thinking.

    Bad/loose neutral or ground?

    Jon,

Got this seated coach from Prevost Jacksonville. It is a shell now, getting ready to buildout once all the mechanical work has been done. As luck would have it I ran the numbers from the Norgren as you suggested. One company wanted $580 but found new ones in Ohio for 10 bucks each. Ordered three and their on the way. Can’t beat that deal!

    Thanks for the advice!

No two owners or storage situations are alike so the best solution is for the owner to learn his coach and how it has been set up, and then to assess his particular situation.

I see the logic in a lot of suggestions, however all we can do is make suggestions and it is up to the owner to decide how to best handle his storage set up.

Speaking personally, there is not a chance I would leave anything on if I stored my coach in a remote location. The risk of expensive damage to the batteries is too great if I rely on an unmonitored source of power. So my preference would be to shut off all power including the battery master switches and then on a regular basis (like monthly) check the coach and recharge the batteries if needed.

I understand about wanting to leave an AC on or the refrigerator but once you want to do something like that risks increase significantly. There is no perfect solution to storage but the choices regarding what is left powered up, what is turned off, and what is being accomlished is a personal decision based on the owner’s tolerance for risk, how the coach is set up and the type of storage.
