As far as I can see all the ducting is in place and nothing appears lose or misdirected.

We traveled about 120 miles today plus idled for an hour or so while we ate en route. The panel stayed as cool as a cucumber. The switch or solenoid must have been stuck in the heat position. I will keep an eye on it.

    Tom

We have the Smart Tire system. That was how I watched the pressure rise as I was driving and it was getting warmer outside! Made me a little nervous.

    You’re making this too difficult.

If you’re dry camping, use chemicals and you can roughly fill and empty together at the same time. On my coach, I believe I have 165 gallons fresh and 135 gallons waste so there could be an issue. A little grey water on the ground through the bypass at an appropriate time is sometimes desirable to use most fresh water.

If you’re in a campground (other than Liberty’s), I simply connect fresh water hose, open valve, leave pump on, and turn on auto-fill. Connect one sewer hose and leave valve open. No watching, no dumping, no nothing.

Peter, I replaced mine a few months ago, it is a PITA to put it back where it was due to all the Adel clamps, and rusty screws that hold them.

If that line goes, you ain’t going no where……

Depending on how sharp the turns are it is entirely possible to eat up a tag axle tire. From my experience if a tag axle tire starts getting an unusual wear pattern the race towards that tire becoming trash is very fast. If I detected any unusual wear on the steers or tag I immediately put those tires on the drive which would usually correct the problem. I never ever put unusually worn steers on the tag because they not only wouldn’t straighten out the wear, the wear pattern would continue but at a seeminly rapid rate.

Of course all that is with all tires being 120 or 315. Now with 365 and 315 on the coach there is no way to remediate a tire with unusual wear.

I agree with the test being a torture test. I think it is supposed to emulate 500,000 miles of in service use. I was extremely pleased to see the chassis has so much structural integrity and does not twist.

Hey, if you were impressed, how do you think Tom and I felt and how impressed we were that the Branson rally went so well.

We’ll see if our luck continues. I’m guessing it will.

You have it backwards.. Aqua-Hot has it’s own coolant tank and the Webasto uses the engine coolant. Even though you have Aqua-Hot, the diesel burner is Webasto. So in short, if you have a bus with Webasto it uses the engine coolant to heat engine, hot water heater and heat exchangers (furnace). If you have Aqua-Hot, it has it’s own sealed coolant tank to do all the same thing the Webasto equipped bus does. The Aqua-Hot adds complexity to the system by means of a boiler and multiple pumps for each function. You will have a pump for each heat exchanger and the engine pre-heat. Your fresh hot water tank is actually built into the Aqua-Hot, were the Webato buses have a seperate hot water tank or sometimes like Marathon, two.

Hope that helps. I’ve had both and really like the Aqua-Hot because of the electric heating function without the nead to use the diesel unless it really gets cold or you need unlimited amounts of hot water. On the other hand, I like the Webasto because it’s a simple system and uses the engine coolant for all functions. Both work really well.
