On rare occasions I have run with the slider open. If I remember the window frame would interfere with the mirror view so I didn’t do it much. I don’t think it brought in any fresh air so I think I just did it out of boredom. Too much noise.

Couple of things to check;
Make sure the Crestron in the salon is connected underneath showing both red and green lights. When the base is moved around sometimes the connection pulls out slightly.
Based on your bus age check to see the battery age of both Crestrons.
On our former ’05 Marathon our intermite problems were resolved by replacing the battery in the bedroom Crestron.
The Tecklink has a mind of its own, if you have the video switch pressed “on” at dash location… techlink will often drop the image on the dash screen.
Pressing techlink functions start a micro delay before the function .If you don’t wait for the action and give it another command the tecklink locks.
This might be why you’re rebooting so often. Just trying to help.

Yesterday, the service guy disconnected the air output line from the compressor. Started the engine and he said that air was not coming out. So, how could anything else matter if the compressor is not making air? Could it be that the unload pistion in the air cylinder head is stuck open?

You didn’t mention the brake hoses, they are a service item too.

As an aside Davy is fortunate he had the work done when he did. We can get along with temporary repairs such as plugging an air line to deal with a failed brake chamber. We can tolerate a leaking Norgren valve. But if an air bag bursts we might end up either on the side of the road getting repairs or attempting to limp along with a coach sitting down on the bottom of the suspension, risking damage.
When you consider the cost of an air bag replacement along side the road or the expense of a flat bed tow, the price of replacing all the air bags is really not that high.

If you haven’t found the governor at the compressor is is probable you have the Haldex dryer which has the governor built into it. It is mounted on the bulkhead forward of the drive axle I think. It will have a clamp holding the cartridge in place that has four screws as opposed to the previously used Wabco dryer with the spin on cartridge.
I’m a little concerned your service guys are spending so much of your time and money doing on the job training. I’m more concerned they might not have a clue.

As someone else said in another thread…Prevost ain’t perfect, the tech who did my DMI I thought was pretty good, but when I asked about service life of some things I was thinking Jon would not agree!
Anyways, I found the Prevost reciept, they changed PowerCool in April 2012, less than 5000 miles on coach since then.
When I siphoned out some coolant just now out of the reservoir it looks like this:
So looks like old green mixed with Powercool, but somewhat greenish and maybe the Prevost tech did not look close enough…will leave it at that. (tech also wrote powercool on intake tube when it was changed)
This is what I drained from the lower coolant tube just now, looks little more like powercool, but still mixed.
Finally my local Detroit dealer sold me a couple gallons of this ( they did not have the NON dilluted in stock, I did not want the 50/50)
He advised using the non sca filter since coolant is pre charged…not sure if this correct…I am sceptical.

I am assuming they did swap in Powercool, but obviously with Webasto etc did not get all of the old stuff out. It has an SCA filter on it now that was changed less than a year ago along with a chassis service at Prevost.
At this point should I go ahead and get more Power cool and try and do a more thorough swap? I plan to change every two years so I am not worried about long life coolant, but am still a bit confused on which filter with which PowerCool to use.
I will do a bunch more reading and tackle it monday.

Try looking on the backside of the compressor, that is where mine is.

few years back I had the front rotors changed on my Royale in
Knoxville at Russel Coach which required the hubs to be removed.
After putting everything back together dry, it took some time to get
the hub oil level to the low/high mark. I then drove back home to GA
and it took until late the next day to finally get the oil level to
stabilize after adding oil a little at at time.Moral
of this story, check those hubs and it does take a LONG time for the
oil level to stabilize after a dry installation. I just sucked out
overfill oil on 3 or my 4 hubs and for you folks with the later
Stemco’s (non removable rubber plug) with the metal fill plug, that process is a real joy. You
need to make yourself a special cut off allen wrench then get the
wheels to a position where you can remove the plug and add or
subtract oil.Also,
if you have some weeping around the face of the later Stemco’s,
tighten all the small star screws, they all seem to get loose. I told
Buddy about the allen wrench while we were doing his tires and he
promptly went to his tool box and pulled out his cut off allen. You
can’t get anything past Buddy….. -

I see in my Marathon that there are the latches for the straps for dinette and lounge chairs but I have found no straps yet, may have to make something up!
