My 15 KW Kubota starts about the same way if not started in a week or so. It will start and die. After you hit it again runs perfect. Holds good oil pressure when hot. Don’t have an answer.

Jon when I see you at Jeff’s place I have some special made left handed metric cresant wrenchs I want to give you just cause the way you get treated on this site.

If I were you I would take your half of the dues collected so far and resign from this thing.

You would get more respect being a Winnabago rep.

I have a Prevost brochure from 2000, and the transmission retarder was an option, as was the Jake brake. Can’t tell you how much earlier the retarder was available. The retarder is essentially a pump in reverse. It takes hp to drive a pump, the retarder takes hp from the rear wheels to drive the pump. According to those who know, it works better than a Jake, and has more adjustment.

Another issue: After typing a couple of lines, the characters show up at snail’s pace–have to wait a few seconds before the character appears–takes forever to type. Is this a failsafe against long posts?

Regardless of Trawick’s record , Prevost Fort Worth, Marathon and Detroit Diesel are just too close to not take advantage of their expertise. My experience with Fort Worth Prevost and Marathon has found them very helpful and ready to address your needs and your questions. They are in very close proximity and work with each other regularly for the customer’s convenience. New buses sure are fun.

You can still by those relays. They are pricey because they were mainly used in the aircraft business.

Yes, they are hot to the touch.

I have had my coach 9 years and it has always been hot but never failed.

    It is a continuous relay.

So hot you almost can’t touch it.

Step one regarding any reading we get that indicates a problem such as a warning light, voltage reading, temperature, etc. is to verify we are being told correct information.

Electric readings are the easiest to verify.

Bill, we had a Microphor like yours in our Affinity. After struggling with trying to get the replacement seal to close tight (slightly thicker than original), I donated the toilet and got a replacement with manual flush. There are a number of toilets on the market that would work, both manual and electric.
