Another example of your dues at work.
I hope everyone recognizes with all the available features on the PC website we may have to offer training for members who want to learn how to use the site.
I for one need instruction because no matter how hard i try I cannot bring the site up on my flip phone.
-
Jon,
You are probably just not sliding you fingers up on those buttons on that flip phone fast enough. You also have to slide your fingers briskly across the buttons to get the image to scroll sideways. Try both way for a week or two. Sometimes, your phone just needs to learn your patters to function correctly, so give this a try for a week or two for your phone to settle in. Try it for a couple of weeks and then get back to us.

I’m trying, I’m trying. Nothing seems to work and when I send an email to admin he just blows me off amd makes nasty remarks about Neanderthals, whatever that means.

Jon when I see you at Jeff’s place I have some special made left handed metric cresant wrenchs I want to give you just cause the way you get treated on this site.
If I were you I would take your half of the dues collected so far and resign from this thing.
You would get more respect being a Winnabago rep.

Guys….
that is an awesome addition to this site… I can’t tell you how many times I have wanted to go back like that !!
Thanks… you can double my dues anytime !!
Cheers, Diane

Tom,
Any progress towards seeing the last post on a thread since your last visit??
-
Brian, That is what the new feature allows.
You can select any date you want as a starting point for viewing posts, not just your last visit. At least that is what Tom said.

A most welcome addition, to an already user-friendly and well laid out site.
Good thing you did it here first.
It would have never got off the ground in Oklahoma. The OHP walks up to the car and says to the man behind the wheel, “You got any ID?” and the man replies … “About whut?”
I get thrown off a lot of sites, uhhhhh, I visit a lot of sites, and this one is a breeze to use, once you learn the inns and out’s of it, a real joy.
About the only thing it really needs boys is a working spelling checker.

Which has been discussed but has so far proven too expensive and difficult to add.
However, If you are from E TN you might really need the spell check feature so perhaps the way around it is to create a word document, check the spelling and grammar, and then when it is OK, cut and paste to the forum.
The only problem at that time is you might be on your own to figure out if you should use “Their”, There” or They’re”
The good news is we do not grade the posts for spelling or grammar. If we did we would have to hire someone because that is way beyond our pay grade.

As I try my best to insure it is all correct, I often do as you suggest, work it up elsewhere then bring it over here. Often as I “shoot from the hip” on something it would be nice to have it here to use.
I completely deleted all advertising from my site and have revamped it and given it new life or rather, a new look. Just spent ten days learning how to write CSS code to change the color of a font in a header, now if that is not anal, I don”t know what is?
I do however, understand what you are saying. It was just a suggestion. Also, I was not blowing smoke up your bippy when I said this was one of the “Premier Bus Sites” on the net.
It is definitely top drawer Jon/Tom … Kudos.
