Well, this is interesting. I replaced the valve with a new valve, but there was no change in the symptoms. I’ll spend a little more time wrapping my head around the problem, but I thought I’d get that out there in case Harry was about to order a new valve. I’m going to scratch my head now…

One alternative source is Orr & Orr 708-496-9800 or google them. I paid $21.95 1.5 years ago for my application.

After reading the post by Per about removing fuse # 38 I pulled the fuse on our 2015 Tahoe in the first part of Sept. since then We have run two trips totaling about 5500 miles and no more than three days in an RV park at one time so many hook up and un hook and no problems. Just neutral the transfer case, trans in park and go. and after two years of a PIA to tow it’s great not to be aggravated I just left the fuse out.
the last time I looked at an escalade many years ago, they were full time four wheel drive and could not be flat towed, so that has changed.
Cheers

As far as I know it is original. I have owned it since March 2008 and there is no indication or paper work it has been replaced.
I am open to ideas. Explain that to me.

Harry, just my opinion, but if we’re you, I would collect the bus manuals from where ever and live with them. There is some good info in there, might be better than the way you seem to be going about knowledge gathering.

My OEM water heater is the 20 gallon Raritan model R20E. Is the current replacement model 1720-01? Thanks. Don’t need one yet, just getting ready.

Tom,
I might be right, I might be wrong. I thought I knew how it all worked, but now you have me second guessing my assumptions.
The 2 cruise airs behind the front bumper do send hot air out the bottom. That much I am sure of. The coils on the 2 cruise airs behind the bumper do not have any duct work covering them, so the only way they could pull air thru the coils would be from inside the front bumper compartment. The front shutters when open, allow air in thru the front bumper opening.
I will look at it all again next week and try to sort it all out.

Mine behind the front bumper pull air from underneath. How did they duct yours to be able to pull from the front Andre, since the intakes are usually on the bottom of the Cruiseairs?

You can set those inverters to monitor the actual voltage of your batteries? put them on that screen. When the inverters begin to cycle watch the actual battery voltages and see if there is a correlation between the battery voltage climbing and the inverters cycling.
The inverters will cycle off when the battery voltage stays above 30 volts for 30 seconds or so. Once the inverters kick off, the actual battery voltage will go down and the inverters will cycle back on. I can not tell you why the battery volts might be going up but I am curious to see if that is the case.
Another question. Does it always happen at night?

Congratulation Da and Judy. Now we are “kin!” You own 591, then there’s Jon and Terri’s 592. Ours is 593. We need to have a 590’s party

Do you have a laser machine yet?

Tom please don’t read this … I did that once (maybe twice) every early on in the life of being a Prevost owner. I have the Magnum 2500 inverters (I think). The inverter/chargers wouldn’t charge the house batteries when I discovered my errant ways. I tried to charge from both shore power and the generator, inverter/charters wouldn’t kick in. Jeff Rowe was patiently walking me through various things to try to diagnose the problem long distance.
As I recall, Jeff finally concluded that the Lifetime batteries were drawn down so far that the inverter/chargers wouldn’t charge the house batteries because apparently the batteries have to have at least a little charge for the inverter/chargers to recognize the batteries and charge them. He walked me though hooking my Sears 12 volt car battery charger to the 12 volt house battery master switch that Liberty has as part of its house electrical system. I ran that overnight. Removed it. Turned on the shore power, turned on the inverter/chargers, and they both clicked on and we were off and running with the Lifelines being charged.
You have a different coach converter, maybe your coach is wired differently than mine. Maybe you have a different problem than I did. So please be fore warned that what worked (safely) for me and my coach might not work (safely) for you and your coach.

Yes there is lots to see up here in Saskatchewan, if you have never been here it is flat as flat can be. The common joke is you can watch your dog run away from home for 3 days. Next door in Alberta is the Canadian Rockies well worth the trip thru the Rocky mountains on the Canadian side.
I sure hope you will consider this Rally as i know it will be a good one 🙂

Hi Gerald: Theres nothing around the peddle to obstruct, its all wood.
Hi Per: It’s funny because if there’s one expression I’ve always heard is “it’s like throwing out an anchor”! Now everyone says “no its not like an anchor”, funny!
Hi Jon: As I approached the downward part of the hill I was in 5th gear traveling at 63/65 mph and my RPM’s were right at 1700 as I remember, similar to what you mentioned in your post. When I kicked in the Jake I saw no change to the RPM’s. Thats kind of funny because I wouldn’t have remembered that had you not have mention it?
Hi Glens: I’m going to try the open window idea to find out if I can hear the transition? And when you say “Mine doesn’t require a manual downshift”, thats what I thought as well!
Hi Jim: I’ll try that “goose the peddle” idea, it seems like a straight forward way to find out? Thanks for all the help you’ve given me Jim!
Hi Rocky: Mine doesn’t have sound and I wish it did, its easier than using a walkie- talkie isn’t it?
One thing Jeff wasn’t able to fix is the cruise control. If I understood Jeff correctly, a special program for the computer is needed for that?

This will be a great opportunity to visit our friends to the north and to meet a wide variety of bus owners.
