I recently built a CNC Plasma table from scratch and have been trying to get all of the bugs worked out. I have it to the point now where it’s pretty accurate and relatively reliable. Anyway, I was messing around this weekend and made this for pop pop.

I’m impressed. I wish I had the skills to make a table like that.

Thanks 🙂 The first thing you need is a really hard head, as I’ve spent more than a few late nights beating mine against the wall trying to figure out why it’s not doing what it’s “supposed” to.

I might try to do another one and remove the logo in favor of some detail inside the silhouette. I want to add the wheel arches, windows, and take a stab at a simplified version of the graphics.

Do you have a laser machine yet?

No, that would be fun though. I originally built the table because I needed to cut steel plate, up to 3/8″. I priced out a laser and it was very cost prohibitive for cutting. Etching is another story though, and could be something to play around with in the future.
