We have towed a number of Jeeps….Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Liberty, all of which were about as easy to tow as it gets.
Our last toad was (still is) a 2008 Hummer H3. As hard as it is to believe, it actually requires even less preparation than the Jeeps. All I need to do is push 2 buttons simultaneously on the dash to shift the transfer case into neutral and shut the vehicle off.

We had a Lexus GX470 we towed for a couple years. The manual says it shouldn’t be towed 4 down but I talked to dealer and researched online and found there are many Lexus dealers that tow them and that it wouldn’t be a problem. We had no issues.
We tow a Jeep Wrangler now. It is a easy to install the equipment and tow.

I’m not aware of caps being available. The solenoid valves are a Prevost or Norgren replacement part and are all alike. The solenoid coils are typically all 24 volts, but some converters changed them to 12 volts so before you order, pop them off and verify the voltage from the label. If one is 12 volts or 24 volts do not assume all the rest are. Check the voltages on all coils.

Have a 1990 liberty
My aux compressor builds pressure but is becoming very noisy until pressure builds. I would like to buffer this compressor noise, sounds like a thrid stage of a high pressure compressor.
The compressor is very large (two pistons / oppossing) and is not in a sound box. It is located behind the cruiseairs behind the front bumper. Is there a rebuid kit or should be replaced (on its way out). I would like to stay with Liberty’s heavy duty compressor. Is there maintence that needs to be conducted. I belive it would be oil less. Located in a not so accessble location to conduct frequent maintenance.
Has anybody rebuit or replace this type of compressor. Model No. ……… the coach is in a snow bank and difficult to access right now.

thanks for the replies guys…. The coach has full power so all is well. I figure when we leave Thursday I’ll fire up the genny and if the range works I guess it is the plug or shore power. If not, I’ll have the transfer switch checked. It finally got up to a balmy 8 degrees outside so working with tools isn’t going to work in knee deep snow next to the coach. As the song goes it’s toasty inside, these things are so well insulated and the aqua hot is working great.
Going to see my wife’s family today so we won’t be at the coach. Leaving early in the a.m.

Gary, based on the replies so far an easy windshield replacement seems to require the reuse of the old gasket. I seem to remember Jon even giving up on using a new gasket. All I know is with a new gasket the two guys that replaced my windshield were challenged.

You are correct about billing adjustments when you bring it to Prevost’s attention. I hope this is the case. In the meantime, I have to peel Chris off the ceiling until that phone call is made .
