I had the exact Diesel fuel smell in my coach shortly after I bought it.
Does your coach have OTR air?
If so, what mine was doing was this……..The OTR air bay is next to the fuel fill on the drivers side, which actually shares the same bay door. The bay door has a rubber seal around it, and it seals around the fuel fill door as well. Mine was missing a piece of the rubber seal around the section by the fuel fill. I ordered a new seal from Prevost,and I replaced only the section that was missing, and my fuel smell went away.
The OTR air was sucking fumes from the fuel fill area, tank area etc. and sending the smell through the squirrel cage fans on the OTR air into the ducts inside.

Thats right Jon, when you have a figure like a piece of pipe you don’t have to go around all day pulling up your pants and a belt is really uncomfortable.

After a refrigerator opening unexpected while traveling I built this safety closer for our Amana side by side.
Marathon factory installs a electric magnetic closer which engages when the transmission is put in gear. If released while bus is in motion it must be manually reset. Plates are mounted on the bottom of both doors attaching to round pads.

PVC pipe is 1/2 inch and matching connectors. Plastic Dip Coat is available at NAPA. Did two (2) dips 24 hours apart. You could paint the PVC or just leave it as-is white. Plastic coat adds a slight cushion, does’nt chip.
Picture shows a joint sleeve on the left side. That was added to take up some slack when it drops into place just allowing slight wiggle room.

Millenicom x3…………..we’ve been using it for a year now, no problems, excellent signal everywhere. I even use it at home. $70/mo. Do NOT get the Sprint unlimited deal, get the Verizon deal, it is unlimited also but they do not call it that.

I thought i saw this coach at an LSU vs. Florida football game in Baton Rouge several weeks ago tailgaiting with hundreds of other fiberglass coaches…..

Thats really nice of you to carry all the CC parts to help us keep the coach running.
Thats why I come to rallys where the most knowledgeable, the most exsperienced and certainly the kindest people have the parts to help me fix my coach. I just mention a problem in casual conversation and next thing I know there are all kinds of people around the coach working, night or day, doesn’t matter. Then when all is done I’ll say alot of thank yous and I’ll send you a check for the parts. Did you get the check?
Tool box looks really good, you need to open a conversion rearrangement center there in TN.
I have a hard time understanding why some of the converters put the batteries in such hard to reach or service locations. I know most people don’t need to get to them very often but when you do, boy what a problem.
With all this said, a sincere thank you, and to Tom as well for all you all do. I know this site is a lot of fun but you two spend hours and days keeping it going. I know it is kind of a hobby and time you enjoy doing what you like doing, but I hope it doesn’t turn into a really hard job, after all, if you don’t have time to travel in your coaches so that things can break, how are we going to know how to fix stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jon you are correct. My inverters pass thru Shore or Gen power and only charge during those conditions.
I meant 25 AMPs not 250.
I pretty much get it. I just did not know how much an inverter will draw from the batteries at 12 volts to convert that to 110 volts.
I have 8, 8D batteries so at 425 AMPs that is a total capacity output of 3200 minutes at 12 volts drawing 25 AMPs at 12 volts. Taking into account the 50% rule, that would be half (1600 minutes.)
I gues my question is how much of that 3200 minutes would be usable from the 110 volt side of the inverter if they were puting out 25 AMPs at 110 volts. Is there a formula for calculating the amount of 12 volt power supplied by the batteries to the inverters to out put 110 volts at 25 AMPs of load.

You are right anything ofver 5% bio is required to be labled under fedral law,fwiw blending takes place at the terminal suppliers can order what ever blend they want to try and pass off to the public.
I find QuickTrip the best place to buy fuel they sell both at their truck stops 100% or a blend, the 20% blend kills me on power and mileage

There’s a reason behind our agreement.
Way back when we had a pair of his and hers 3 wheeled Hondas. They weren’t very fast but they could go almost anywhere in any season. So we used them all year round, including winter when everyone else was on smowmobiles.
There came a time when I felt somewhat invincible. I was out playing on mine on some new trails and I managed to break my wrist. After several hours of pain I relented and went to the emergency room where the grumpy doctor gave me a lecture and a cast.
The next day I went out riding again, and equally sure of my skills I manged to break the cast. When I got home Di was not happy, and it was a quiet ride to the hospital to have the cast replaced. It was not a fun experience because the doctor that fixed the cast was the one that put it on in the first place. He was even grumpier than the first time.
I’m not allowed to ride motorcycles.
