Passport America(club low cost)–US Goverment camping-list BLM and Corp of Engineers and National Forest service sites. Usually lower expense than comercial camp grounds. Corp & lot of Forrest Service Camp are first class courtesy of your tax dollars.

For those ariving early or wanting to stay and set around camp fire for couple nights. With help organizing from you I have parking for about 50 to 75 coaches paved fairly flat. Restroom available. Dump station and maybe water. Also have a lakeside party house within yards of parking area for sunday and monday nights–fire place and all. BYOB Ladies and mens restroons open near parking area also. Do your own thing. No bus== Fairfield Inn 2 miles away. Burdett Park campground is not equipped for buses but has offered their parking lots and Lakeside Pavilion to us. Prob 4 or 5 miles to Greyhound. Donations excepted. Security at site provided. 2 or 100 room for all. LST 325 will be back from fall cruise on 17 Sept. Will be open for tours. Bob

I do take it seriously and I’m not even all that smart. Chip if you don’t mind my corrupting your thread I’d like to ask a question based on what can get you killed if it’s not right? These should be at minimum the things newbies buying 1998 Prevost needs to know? An inverter going out won’t kill you unles our dear wives rig it direct to us, something mine is more than capable of!So Chip, is it ok I ask right here and now… when I buy my 1998, 99, 2000 coach, what do I need to make sure is right that would otherwise enhance the chances of catastrophic possibilities? We know some of them like tires, but what are all of them?
Thanks guys, for me this is a big deal as I’m easing into my first coach!

What Doug said is true. Submit a pic of your coach they want to see what the coach looks like before coming in. I am just going to say this. I get that some of you are pissed off. Please just let it go. It is what it is. Just do as asked and it will be fine getting in. End of story.

I am not familiar with the M&G but I suspect you take air from an unused port on the service brake relay valve (as opposed to the signal port from the brake treadle). Your instructions should be specific, but if in doubt get it clarified by M&G. You will have two different relay valves so do not confuse them. The relay valve you need is for the service brakes and not the parking brakes.
You can access the relay valves by getting under the coach and sitting up in the area where the axles are. The relay valve you will need is on the underside of the coach floor. Raise the coach up as high as it will go using the level low system and then support the chassis under the chassis support points. If you need to know where those points are for your coach go to the maintenance manual. If you do not have one the one for your coach is available on the Prevost Car web site and it shows where to support the chassis.
DO NOT GET UNDER YOUR COACH UNLESS IT IS SUPPORTED……… EVER.

Yes. We owned Marathon 740, a single slide 2002 XLII and in 2003 we had “delam” before it was in vogue. Have any XLII checked. Last year here in our Indio resort was a brand spanking new displayed X3 with loose panels. Needless to say, dealer seller wasn’t too happy we were going around tapping and pushing on the panels. Looked at current display coach yesterday and it’s tight. It’s not a question of “if” but “when”.

Why do they put 365’s on the tag? Would a 315 suffice?

once in awhile the vent pipe on the roof can get a crack in it below the roof and travel inside the ceiling and come out inside coach , it gets cracked because someone hit a tree branch, so check that also, you can not see the crack from the outside on the roof unless you take the vent cap and cover off and can look down inside coach

Yes. A member arrived at a rally with an inner drive very low on pressure or almost flat. He had a tire service company refill the tire. When he got home he was topping off the pressure and the inner tire that had the low pressure exploded. The force was so great it blew the fender off the bus, knocked him against the garage wall and caused serious injuries.
He might post on here to fill in the details. He said he was alive because it was the inner drive tire and not the outer one. He felt if the outer one had exploded he would have borne all of the explosive force.

The side roads that are less traveled would sure be more enjoyable. As long as they are Divided 4 Lanes. The Two lane Roads that are winding and Hilly are now a lot more scary for Me to think about. Which I have to drive on a few to get Home. I drive 40-45 Maybe on them. Has never happen in My Coach yet , But has Happen While driving a regular Vehicle. That a Car is Stopped to turn left , Waiting for oncoming traffic , After You round a corner or come over a small rise. How many feet does it take to Stop going 40 or 45 ? -
I’m running 455 super singles on drive with 365 fronts and stayed with 315 tags. Don’t know if there is any real advantage and there are a couple disadvantages; noise and/or tread life. I went to them to expose the brake drums and wheel bearing area to more air flow in an attempt to reduce high axle temps at high speed when highly loaded…I often run close to 70,000# gross with trailer. They seem to have helped accomplish my goal but I wouldn’t recommend for the average Prevost.
