I’ve been running a PDI remapped 06 14L in a H3 for 3yrs. 50k miles So Ca to Quebec . Towing JK jeep or 2500 Ram . At times 24′ enclosed loaded to 12,000 lbs. only time cooling was marginal was Sherwin Grade leaving Bishop , July hot towing the enclosed tall trlr 214-215 coolant , 1300 hot side pyro , pulls 50 mph 4th gear. PDI Dynoed on their chassis dyno August summer 17′ putting 600 hp on the ground It can be done. The Allison trans does fine , don’t let it shift with the throttle hammered.

End of test 5:45 pm 10 hrs 15 min 93% 12.55 volts just plugged it back in.
looking at the used amp hours on Victron it makes since starts 4 hours -42.6AH 8 hours -88.3AH 10.25 hours -110AH I noticed when compressor was running the time remaining was less, When compressor shut off the time remaining went up. Interesting new refer and inverters made a big difference.

are you sure your BMV settings are configured correctly, and its gone through a few cycles ? is this the first time you’ve used the SOC bmv ? because there is no way its 13.16 at 100% and 97% at 12.61. . i mean there might be if your tail current setting just happens to land at 12.63 or somehing. . which would be pretty rare because lithiums are 13.5v and AGM are 12.8

I threw in the towel today and canceled our reservations at Orange beach.
While this thing is turning down, and I’m not nearly as pessimistic as many, it is not turning fast enough. SC got our stay at home order today at 5:00, Al and Ga have been there.
So while I’d rather be eating and dancing with you lovely bunch of nuts, I’ll sit outside at home next week.

So many different ways to do the same thing.
We use ¼ in straight air line just like used on our coaches for accessories etc. Ours is covered with stuff I call split loom (Click here) for some added protection. I would consider switching over to coiled air line. It comes in many different colors, lengths, and pressure ratings. I Googled “¼ inch coiled air line”. I am not recommending the the air hose in the provided link, it’s just one example.

Intermittent problems can drive an owner nuts. Usually an intermittent problem can be traced to a poor connection, usually a ground. But sometimes it is best to just wait until something quits entirely because chasing a problem that doesn’t exist at the time is frustrating.

You have a 270 amp oil cooled alternator for the house and 150 amp alt for the chassis.
I need to ask you to many questions on what you were doing before this happened.

Spread the word. There has been a huge need for coach service on the west coast and if you look at Diamond you will see they bring some substantial skills to fill this need.
Being a Featherlite service center, having Marathon trained technicians and being a Kubota service center checks a lot of the boxes and from my perspective their skills appear to cover service for most if not all conversions.
Share your experiences here, and we are hoping Diamond will participate in forum discussions to share their knowledge.
With their knowledge gained by operating a fleet of entertainer coaches they will be in an ideal position to anticipate problems based on what they need to keep their fleet operating reliably and we will benefit by getting a heads up about potential future service needs. It is not going to get much better than that.

If you check carefully, despite of all the hype, I do believe that all sellers will offer you something that is Made in China.
So, it comes down to specifications and price.
I do strongly believe that all of the “Brand” names sell you cameras systems that are made in China, totally over-priced and sold by others under “No Name” labels.
They do sell you a “China” product, relabeled and at 2-3 times the original cost.
Anyways, your choice comes down to what you want, how much you are willing to spend and how much time you are willing to invest into research.
I am willing to spend the money to get the best resolution. Along the way, I did learn that there is a specification that I had not hear about before.
It is called AHD and that stands for Analog High Definition.
The drawback is that your cameras and the monitor must support AHD. That adds to the cost.
My new system that I posted about in another thread is just HD. However, since I am viewing my cameras “always on” on monitors close to my direct line of view, the loss of resolution does not really have much of an impact.
But, to return to your question, it is really up to you to do the research and decide what meets your requirements.
Do not rely on what others have done and what they like. I guess, that includes me, too.
I did probably spent several hours of accumulated time researching cameras and monitors on eBay and Amazon before I came to a decision.
By the way, do not be afraid of ordering from China. All of my new components, i.e. cameras, monitors and cables did come from China and all was received as advertised in a very reasonable time.
Most Chinese sellers will send through China Post and that means delivery by USPS. Do not worry about Customs and Duties. USPS delivers straight to your door. No questions asked. Some will ship via DHL. Same end result.
Anyways. As always, this is my 3 cents worth.
