1 gallon initially, then maybe another gallon over the 7 days it sat and dripped without any lines on it.

As widely used as these are in commercial application I would think any locksmith would have new ones. I had to have my key recut to allow smooth rotation. I just drove to a locksmith with a large enough parking lot and he came out and did it in a couple of minutes.

Thank you everyone for the great advice. I agree $270 is on the lower end, and I am happy to pay it, but shipping logistics this close to Christmas make it likely impossible to get to me on time.
Anyways, I did find the valve and took it apart, and I am not exactly sure what was in there, but it might have been a sliver of wood. After dropping all the important parts upon disassembly and then finding them, I put it back together and so far we have no leak! Thanks again to everyone who helped. I just assumed I would need this part and did not consider cleaning it. Now I just have to fix an awning, and hopefully I can spend the rest of the vacation, vacationing.

Thanks for the explanation. I’ll see if I can access the valve to clean it today. If anyone has a 2001-era Featherlite and knows where this valve could be, please let me know. I’ll start looking in the plumbing bay to see if it’s somewhere in there.

Beru has been the Prevost OEM for years. Every Bus they make comes out with a Beru system.
I have been running inside tire pressure systems and hard wired monitors since 2006 and have never had an issue. There are many marginal company’s selling crap. Know what your buying.
Hanging a oversize cap or whatever it is on the end of a valve stem is just asking for trouble but they sell them because there easy not good.

I’ll do what’s necessary. we have new air bags and compression fittings so I suspect that it’s a Norgren somewhere but Jeff at ETLC was not able to identify the problem either. I only get a few days per year where I have both free time and someone with knowledge and equipment so I have to give it a shot when I can. How or why I use my checkbook is not important in this conversation.

Interesting comments on sealed bearings.
While I’ve had no issues with my steer or tag bearings, I have had issues with failed oil seals on drive axle. Are the drive axle bearings sealed on the newer coaches? Is retrofit possible?

If the leak is the hose fitting just tighten will probably not stop anything, but many years and tons of leaks loosen the fitting, yes you will loose a little freon and then tighten should fix leak.

looks like a awe sh-t moment to me. Can you get away with a new turbin wheel or did it get the shaft or housing.
