I agree with Karl in that I always felt that this strategy to minimize tax is legal and reasonable. We all have our own strategies for managing our tax liability. Others may employee some of the following ideas too:
1) Own a bus instead of a second home to minimize property tax.
2) Take only minimum required distributions from an IRA to minimize income tax.
3) Buy products on the Internet from a company in a different state than yours to avoid sales tax.
4) Invest in municipal bonds to avoid income tax.
5) Move one’s residence from one state to another to avoid high business tax, property tax, income tax, or sales tax.
The Mt LLC seems small from the perspective of these other strategies. Maybe we should construe this matter as political and not the place. -
Diane, we have the 4035T, it was installed about a year and a half ago(figures that it’s already updated). It has worked well for us, it doesn’t always track when we’re in-motion, but using it that way is a rarity anyway.

Yes, I had Marathon take me through it a while ago. Thanks, I’ll give it a try.

We have been pointing out many times that valve stem extensions can be an issue and if used they need to be in inspected for abrasion wear and the grommet has to be stiff enough to support the valve stem against deflection that is going to cause fatigue failure of the stem where it comes out of the wheel.
But look closely at the photo Tom posted. The hole to the right of the valve stem extension in the wheel shows where on that wheel there was previously an extension and the grommet was not in place and the extension wore a small groove in the opening in the wheel.
When we were parking coaches at the last Carlisle event about 10 or 15 of the coaches had missing or out of place grommets and those coaches were a tire failure about to happen.

Hey Thanks Kirby!!! I am doing the same thing right now. Replacing air bags. I have searched the web and found the same information from other sites. Thanks to all you fellow PC guys for chimming in on this subject!!! Just finished all but two rebuilds of my norgren valves. Got rebuild part numbers and ordered direct from Norgren. Very easy to set up account and order. Bad news is I have a 5 speed manual with a hydralic clutch. Master cylinder went out and had to order from Ford parts. Luckily I got the last one available known to man. Called Prevost and they said they could get me one made and delivered in 3 months. That would be great if I wasn’t backwards in my RV site! Got the master cylinder installed and bleed air from lines everything working until I go to see if all the lines are tight and snap off the fitting coming from the master cylinder. Oh well, just another day in the life of bus ownership!

Bill,
Satuday morning we will be having coffee and donuts in the meeting center and that morning is open for discussion on any topic so if you want to bring along your order book, samples and sales pitch you are welcome. Thanks Geo for the idea.

Karl, I will check Jeff’s invoice when I get home Mon. Geo.

Standard procedure in a Marathon as directed by Leon. Only thing needed is if you had the autostart active when cutting 12/24 power, you have to reset it once power is back.

I know how to upload a photo but I can’t seem to figure out how to copy and paste.

I think we know that bus. Jon, was it Ben’s?
Also, we need to get at least 3 years dues up front, this Wade guy is going to be trouble.:)

What are you using? Laptop, Apple or Desktop and what browser? The problem is on your end, so if you’re using windows, clear cache. If you use a wrong file extension on our system, it will give you a message. Size doesn’t matter, it will be resized.

Fred… I also noticed the lime green zip ties making up a black wire harness. I don’t know if that is “PC” approved ?

I’ve had Prevost in Quebec, Tenn and Florida as well as Van Mor (Powertech’s repair folks), Millennium and our local truck shop try to fix it. As I said before all filters have been changed as well as the solenoid itself. I don’t think any of them have measured fuel pressure. When I start it, it sounds like a fuel pump is running for a few seconds before it tries to start. I’ll try looking for a check valve. An air leak may be hard to find since it’ll be a very small negative pressure.
Does anyone know what is actually shutting it off? Is the inverter looking for an AC voltage or frequency within a certain window? It’s something that drives the fuel cutoff solenoid.

The key to a smooth use of the Jake brake is to not let off all the way on the accelerator, but to feather it back so the Jake will disengage but the transmission will not upshift. Just takes a bit of pracitice. When we get our Prevost, I will have the tranny reprogrammed to go to second as a target gear.

I find it interesting to read about this kind of issue for Prevost. Can’t say it enthuses me–our coach is 21 years old and no delamination at all! Why can’t Prevost build the fiberglass part as well as Country Coach? I also noticed the coach we drove at Marathon had stress cracks at the passenger side upper corner.
