If it is a death wobble it’s usually a simple fix with a bungee cord

Thanks to everybody that replied, after looking at things and researching on the internet, I think that that what I actually experienced was the “death wobble” of our 2021 F-150 toad. everything seems to fit, it happened after turns on bumpy roads, it went away and stayed away for over 100 miles, etc. I am going to have a closer look at all of my front end steering and suspension components, including the damper and howard center steer, to insure there are no other issues. I had never even hear of the “death wobble” issue before I started looking on this issue and I have never had the issue in the 10000 or so miles that I had previously towed a f-150. Of course, before this trip I had never had my Blue Ox Patriot braking system decide, quite erroneously, that it was in a breakaway situation and needed to melt my pads and rotors either,

MemberMay 29, 2023 at 1:28 pm in reply to: Cruiseair review – one not workingI just bought 2x AKA5512’s. Had one unit that I diagnosed to bad compressor. Just removed it last night and have two compressors on the way. Despite the other post on here saying these 12K BTU compressors will die after 6 months, I guess we’ll wait and see. There are no other options. All the original AKA8515’s are long gone. There might be some used new/used inventory on Ebay, but, might be a shot in the dark.
I wrote about this before. All the higher BTU compressors appear to be 230V. It could be an option but it wouldn’t be a direct drop in replacement.

Art, here’s a thread I did about my install:

Following this thread. I, too, am curious.

Your inverter should have a panel display on top of the unit (mine does) to use in case of remote failure. Might have to have a mirror to see it.

That is Prevost Part #
641415
Ordered it less than 30 days ago and it was $43.83 and is made by Norgren.

Chuck, my Generator coolant setup works just like a 4 cylinder automobile.
-
I think that’s the case with the new coaches. It’s my understanding that our 98 shell, 99 Liberty was painted by Prevost in Quebec at the factory.

Jon:
Not sure how much difference the generator arrangement on my Featherlite is, but when I drain and fill I leave the cap off, start the gen, as it warms up the thermostat opens and I add the additional coolant with the engine running. Once topped off I fill the expansion tank to the full line. Put the radiator cap back on, shut the engine down and let it cool. Expansion tank takes care of any remaining shortage of fluid in one cool down because I have fill the system with the engine running and cap off once the thermostat opens.

A friend had an axle recently break on his late 90’s XL45. Having had an axle break in the Ford 9″ rear end of my vintage NASCAR Cup car and having to clean the resulting “stuff” out of the gear set and tubes, I can only imagine what a mess a broken axle will make the rear end of a Prevost.
Anyone hear of axles breaking in a Prevost?
