Any chance you inadvertently bumped into the door lock air switch?

    Terry,

As long as you have good 50 amp, leave it plugged in and on float. Float should be about 26.6. Be sure to not have the autostart armed if in a garage. As to how long your Lifelines should last, 5 or 6 or years if properly used. I can go about 12 hrs. dry camping before needing the generator to charge, but I don’t let it get below 24v. As your batteries age, that time between charges will decrease. There is a small round white sticker on your batteries with 2 letters, I can tell you the age with those letters.

Unless someone has added a smart charger (3 stage) to your chassis batteries, they will eventually discharge to the point of not starting your bus. There are a lot variables, but generally you should be able to go a couple months without needing a charge, shutting off the 12 and 24 chassis disconnect may help with that, but there will still be parasite loads for DDEC. Some can’t even go a month without charging and battery age will be a factor. I use 3 years as a chassis battery change.

Here’s a new service that may be the answer to mobile internet access. Please note that I have not yet tested this system, so here’s a review from a notable source:

    https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/att-360-yr-rv-unlimited-data-plan-now-available-with-togo-roadlink-c2/%5B/quote

There have been MANY services promising most anything. I have lost hundreds of dollars being the first adopter and finding the company is out of business in 3-6 months. I am not sure what this service is or will be in the future but I can tell you that very few (none that I am aware of other than the AT&T Mobley) have actually survived as truly unlimited. Once they add “network optimization” or 4G/3G/2G reductions at some limit (usually 25G) the word unlimited becomes highly limited.

Have you been back in contact with American Fleet to address your power issues? Are they stumped too?

Yep, I got the dreaded E-3 error on two Razors. They stand behind them, but the garage is getting full of broken antennas.

I was able to get in touch with Ray today and as soon as the weather clears (hopefully by Spring!) he’s going to load up his truck with the necessary hardware and stop by. It appears we are pretty close to that’s a nice side benefit!

Thanks again to all who helped me out! (You know, the thing Prevost would not do!).

Thanks, Jon. Can I ask why the new wire and separate circuit? These are switched from the box above the engine and the only other thing on that switch that I can see is the light in that box.

We found some high quality 24 volt LEDs (on Craigslist) and installed them as a direct replacement for the incandescent units…used short sheet metal screws. We did so in every compartment and they are bright. We have a couple left over that I can send you, but wouldn’t be able to do so for about 6 weeks.

I do not know if I am writing to Linda or John, but thank you for the pictures and the kind offer. That is very similar to what I was thinking of using. I have found some on Amazon that are not expensive.

    Thanks again,

    Davy

Les, when you were there the last time you went through a gate with a security guard.

This time you want to enter the facility off of Medula Road about 100 feet to the west of that gate. Stay on that road and take it until you see hangar E (?), then turn left to the end, then right, and then turn right parallel to the runway. You can see what I mean on Google.

I had the Razor on my coach and it worked great.

Sitting at Jeff Rowe’s place it would get around 25 chanells.

    30 miles south of Knoxville.

    Jeff,

Run a title report on it. Some of those owners could be liberty, meaning actual owners is less. Also, get a detailed mechanical inspection (prevost service centers are good for that). Spend a couple three days with it and run all.house systems as much as possible. See about service records if avilable.

Remember what the economy was doing in 07, 08 and 09. Some people may have found that a new(ish) coach wasn’t a good option for them due to the economic changes and hand over could be due to that.
