I hope you will accept my apology
So, I have to say that I have been completely humbled by the responses to my post requesting guidance regarding my recent issue with a blown air bag here in Houston. You all stepped up and not only gave me contact information but actually made phone calls on my behalf to the person who had the ability to get my Prevost air bag replaced without having to put the coach on a hook or pay an outrageous fee to some random mobile service person. Jay came by today and put us back together in short order and in a highly professional and very friendly manner.
So, here’s the issue. In a previous life, a guy who looks a lot like me got banned FOREVER from this forum. This guy was working through a very difficult time in his life and needed to grow up and stop blaming everyone else for problems in his own life. I would like everyone to know that the person that I (I mean he) was is very sorry for the posts that I (he) made. I am the same Bill that used the Myprevost@gmail.com address and the same guy that continues to have problems with my ’88 Country Coach DDEC I, but I am not the same person. I was banned forever and I suppose you can choose to do so again but I believe in redemption and hope the moderators do as well. I am willing to pay double the amount of dues I have paid in years past as penance for my previous indiscretions but I don’t believe I could afford any more than this!
It’s strange that it sometimes takes more than 60 years to grow up but it’s pretty clear that some of us took a bit longer than others to reach even a reasonable level of maturity.
If apologies are not enough, I completely understand and I will abide by your decision but I remain hopeful that you will see clear to allow me to remain a member and participate as a member and, hopefully, a contributor.
Thanks to all, I hope!
