Come on guys, of course I know about the generator and an OTR? My bus has both so I better. In retrospect what I should have asked is “have you seen a Prevost with a front grill like this one”? I for one never have and is what prompted my question?
On my bust the OTR is behind a louvered door and my generator is behind a bay door with louvers where the exhaust is. As I said earlier the above bus has neither of those two things. That’s why I asked the question. But no problem, it’s all good!

I loved the 10 year older system (Vorad) we had in a previous SOB coach.
We could not easily upgrade our current 2006 XLII so we went with the next best option, MobilEye.
A Luddite, like Jon (we still love you Jon!), will disapprove, but for me, any system that improves safety is a plus. Not to take the place of an active, engaged driver, but improved safety.

Tom, rec’d email confirmation from PayPal on the $200 payment but got an error message trying to input the number of people (which would be 2). Can you confirm we are registered? Thanks

Give me a ring. I’m in Aiken only 20 minutes away.
I still work so Monday will be difficult but I might can break free in the late afternoon.
My e-mail is open. Send me some particulars like where it is and if it can be accessed Sunday. Is it where it can be worked on? I have ramps and stands.

Buddy, I think Jon got a new phone. At least I received this from him, so I believe he got a new phone.

My 1994 XL has 5ea turn signals and 5 marker lights down each side that are hard wired. I purchased the lights from Superbrightleds.com for $7.95 each. They have eight LED’s. two on each end and four in the middle. So far hasn’t been to difficult other than needing to replace a few well nuts that hold the light on.(purchased at O’reilly’s auto parts)
They sure are bright! I’ll add photos as soon as I figure out how.

Tom,
Wish I had known you were in the middle of a project…..we were in the Atlanta area yesterday…..
Are you replacing brake chambers and leveling valves while you’re in there?
-
Michael… Again thanks so much for your input I really appreciate it.
I will call Headhunter tomorrow and see what they say and get back with you.
I will also check out the wiring as you suggested… although he may have done that but I’m not sure.
I will let you know the outcome.
Thanks, Diane

My coach using the Outback inverters is set up so I can run AC units, but they will be ordering gloves in Hell before I run my Cruiseairs off the inverter. Having said that my 4 8D batteries may be overkill because if their is not a shore power connection to my coach, as long as I am awake it is likely my generator is running. But there may be times when I need the power available in my 4 batteries so they are going to fall in the same category as insurance. I hope I never need it, but it is nice knowing it is there.

I have purchased three coaches from Parliament. They are very good very honest and stand behind what they say. You are in good hands. They stand behind what they say. They are amount the best talent in the industry! Enjoy your new to you ride. All the best.

George………..I need boots. It’s getting deep on this thread also.
For those of you who may not be aware, the crazy guy with the bon-bons used to grab the mike, deepen his voice and say……….”this is your captain speaking”
Now that is scary.

Jon, I’m not aware of any inverter that doesn’t display DC current on its remote display. What model remote do you have that doesn’t have a display of DC amps? BTW, the same display is usually used to display DC amps going into the batteries when the charger is on.

Sid,
Thank you for being so kind and offering to share your experiences, etc. I have a home in Palm Springs but store my coach in Indio in a RV garage so I’m very familiar with the Motor Coach Country Club. They have an excellent restaurant. Sometimes, before a trip, I’ll put our coach there to empty the tanks, fill with fresh water and enjoy the resort.
I’m getting ready to head out of the desert to my home in TN for the holidays but I think our tracks might cross.
Take care,
Mark

Stayed at the Vineyards not long ago and highly recommend it. It’s near the airport and any services you might need. Downtown Grapevine has a small town atmosphere is probably less than 2 miles. It has good restaurants and adult beverage vendors. Prevost Serice center in Fort Worth is also nearby. Enjoy your stay.
