The rear fill charges all tanks, brake, wet and aux. The front fill in the steering bay only charges the aux tank.

Circuit protection at the power source is required. It is not there to protect the attached end device or devices, it’s there to protect the wire from melting and generating a fire. In Tom’s case, if the unrestrained wire breaks or rubs through or otherwise makes contact with a ground source it could cause a fire if the wire is not fused or otherwise protected at the source.
BTW, how does the fan know the inverter is on? It would be far to complex to tap into the remote on a Freedom inverter to get a charge indicator signal. I’m guessing they just tapped into the AC input or output, neither of which indicates the inverter is on.
I would still put a thermostat in, unless the fan is explosion proof and you are using wet cell batteries in that bay. Wet cells should be avoided if they are in a bay anyway.

Reading the post about the $2.75 lb. lobster gets me think-in. That really sounds like a great mini-rally. So I get on Map Quest and learn it’s only 1550 miles one way from KC.
Now I do some quick math and the price of diesel fuel makes this mini rally no mini deal at all. So I just pass it along to another post and forget the taste of lobster for another time.
Sign on this morning and check a few postings and find you now have posted a picture.
It would of been OK but it’s in color .
There needs to be some Lobsta rules on PC

Jon, I think I have located the valves and the pressure switches, but unable to determine if the switches are open or closed. There is a panel with some aux air lines and my bus alarm system mounted on it in front of the pressure switches so, it is one of those “stand on your head deals”
To confirm I am looking at the pressure switches, are they a 21/2 around and maybe an inch or so thick with 2 wires mounted to them? How would I know their open or closed position?

Thanks for that link… great reading….I have a whole new respect for relays now !! They do a lot more work than I ever imagined.

I think they suppress voltage spikes. It is a long time since I was told the reason why so that might be the wrong answer.

Coolant level is good. I believe I also ruled out the clutch. I installed the modified relay (tab #85 removed) and turned the ignition switch on without starting the engine. When doing this the fan clutch did engage. I know this because it wouldn’t move.
Given the command to turn on the fan clutch is to turn off the power to the relay, I’m hopeful it’s just poor contacts on the 14 year old relay. FWIW, the clutch was replaced before I bought the bus. I’m guessing that was 20K miles ago.

Not sure I understand if that is a part that overlies the painted bottom of the door or replaces it?
I have never had an H3, but I have never experience enough road rash on the bottom panels of my bay doors on my XL to justify any form of protection.
If the part is placed over the door bottom what protects the door bottom painted surface from getting abraded by fine grit sure to work between the two, and if it replaces the bottom painted surface why won’t that chip and get damaged compared to the quality finishes that are applied to the bottom of the doors.
Cosmetically I think the coaches look fantastic with their paint schemes and to change the bottom perimeter to black might detract from their appearance.

I had the 2000 XL that Jamie now has and the HWH brain was not overhead. It must be in the dash area as I never really saw it and had everything apart at one time or another.
On the plastic CC’s, most were in the dash in front of the passenger. I knew that because there was a way to override the ride height if you had a problem by pulling a fuse.
