Vent Fan
I am looking for a NICRO fan assembly or fan motor to replace the one that died. The Co. was sold to Marineco sometime ago and they no longer carry the fan or parts that I need.
This is the fan refered to as the “fart fan” by parts folks, it is 8.75″ X 2.75″ and requires a 4.5″ opening in the ceiling. They usually have a stainless trim ring around the top of the assembly that sits on the roof.
The fan I need is 110v, there are a few solar powered one on the market.

Are you sure it’s 110v? I would be surprised to find a low amperage motor so closely exposed to the elements being AC powered. -
Gil, I assume it is 110v. I blows a 7.5 fuse in the mother board.

My bet is our fan is a Nicro N20354S. As you’ve discovered its discontinued. So, you have three choices, as I see it.
- Replace your fan with a solar powered version of the same. This should ensure the same fitment (you should check on fitment first).
- See if you can find a replacement motor or have a motor shop rebuild it. FYI. it may be too small for a motor shop to care.
- Change the fan out with a different 12V fan.
What ever your cure, let the rest of us know. The form factor of our fan is most widely used on boats. Doing a quick search it looks like all new versions have went to solar powered.

Gil, I fell into the 110v idea as the fuse was in the Motherboard which I thought was all 110v. “Head up and locked” I guess.
Might have a source for the fan, should know tomorrow–will post the result.

Search for item 120825504508 These are the 12 volts model with rechargeable battery for nighttime operation. The cost is $830 including shipping. That is a very low price, considering the new cost was easily 3 times as much.
