Sorry, I should have posted this earlier. I think we have the issue resolved.
Immediately after I posted the original message, I received an unsolicited call from Kyle at Tradewinds. After a few questions and tests, it was determined I had a bad accumulator tank. Where air should have been releasing I got nothing but water. Hence, the accumulator tank looks like it needs replacing. Thanks Kyle.
So, I was misinformed by the other Prevost repair facility that said the pumps were not powerful enough.
I went from my Buffalo, NY garage directly to Florida where I have city water hooked up with great pressure, so no immediate need to use the 2 water pumps. Now that the holidays are nearly over, I’ll be replacing the accumulator tank.

I never said I am against ABS. Quite the contrary. But if all you drive is an ABS equipped vehicle, and your preferred method of stopping in an emergency is to slam on the brakes and hold your foot hard on the brake pedal and let the ABS do the work of maximizing the braking effort, then when you do not have ABS or ABS functioning your normal reaction to a needed panic stop will be to mash the brake pedal and not let up, at which point you become a passenger in an uncontrolled vehicle.
On two occasions I flew right seat with “qualified” pilots and the plane had a system go to hell. In those two occasions both pilots freaked out and froze because they apparently had not made any effort to get recurrent training to equip them with the skills needed to deal the system failure. In both cases I took the plane, something a right seater should never have to do if the pilot sitting next to them is healthy.
Technology has had tremendous benefits, but they come at the expense of needed driver skills, and what I am hearing on the forum is some folks are literally placing total reliance on a mechanical system for their well being, and nobody has ever mentioned working hard to develop or maintain the driving skills that are going to be needed when those technical aids turn to tapioca.

Linda, on our 99 Marathon XLV we have both the SMX control and also an old style thermostat mounted next to each other. On mine at least if I turn on only the 12volt heat button then only the Webasto runs and each of the thermostats through out the coach determines the warmth of each area. If I choose 110volt heat then and not the 12volt, then only the toe kick heaters work, but if I select both 12volt and 110volt then both the Webasto 12volt and the 110volt toe kick heaters both come on. Both of these systems work off the old style thermostat, my SMX thermostat only runs the A/C or heat pump off the cruise air’s. Hope this helps.

The new water heater came with a 75psi relief valve. Where is my accumulator tank? Is it under the kitchen sink behind a panel. I saw something there that resembled an accumulator when I had my floor replaced. But its not in line with the pump. I thought it was for reverse osmosis system.

I had a similar problem with an H3 a few years back. It was caused by a fuse in the drivers bay that had blown, causing the brake light switch not to activate the brake lights, so the high idle would not work,.
It happened while at Prevost Jax one day, they replaced the fuse (automotive type fuse) small amp too. After that, no more problems with it.

I fired off an email to the two highest folks I have contacts in at Prevost as well as a call into Marathon.
I’m with you I don’t want to be stuck on the side of the road looking for a tire that doesn’t exist… Beyond Stupid…

I bought at Prevost Jacksonville. Gave them the VIN# and they provided me with the shocks. If you have something heavy on the doors (like a rack and folding chairs), I think you need “stronger” shocks.
Be very careful removing the existing ones. Make sure the door is solidly propped up all the way (with all the air out of the coach bags so the coach doesn’t try to support itself on the bay door if air leaks out). There is a tremendous amount of energy in those shock absorbers; if they aren’t fully extended when you unfasten them they will try to extend with extreme force. You will not be able to hold them back, make sure you’re NOT in the their way.

Hey Jim, I don’t know how I missed your post but I sure did… I’ve never known anyone born on October 30th? I always thought when I was born they established Halloween! It just goes to show that October 30th was a very good day. And I fully agree “if you’re backing and you’re not sure, get out and look”!
Hi ExpressBus, I was going through the books that came with my coach today and I didn’t find anything that’s helpful. I’ve become friendly with a guy at Prevost parts and I’ll give him a shout tomorrow. He’ll know or can get me the information.

Sure looks like a new valve so my money is on the cylinder o-rings.
you can drive it just put it on the list.
i’m out of pocket and don’t have the air diagrams but I don’t thing I’d plug the vent port. That could lead to the same pressure on both sides of the piston and therefore not keep the belts tight. As is you have 75 psi on the piston and the belts will be tight. You just have leaks past the piston and out the vent.
a least 4 years ago Prevost still have the o-rings available.

The door is shutting all the way. If the deadbolt was not lining up, I would at least hear a click in the door when the deadbolt would try to slide. On top of that, when he has to use the key to lock the door there is no problem turning the key and sliding the deadbolt into place. Very intermittent problem; one time it can work 5 times in a row and the next time it wont lock at all by the keypad.
